Welcome to my flu Hump of the Week 🐫

After being up since 2.30am,

I went back upstairs at 6.20am to say hello to hubby. 

I enjoyed a small cup of coffee and a mouthful of yogurt.

 I said goodbye to everyone.

I felt like💩 

Back to sleep for me.

 I woke up at midday.

I heard the rain and the wind.

I got up to close the window,

And suffered from the high temperature again.

I made it downstairs and sat on the settee for the the temperature to go down once more.

I enjoyed a lemon,ginger with honey tea.

Still feeling so weak!

I wrapped myself in a big blanket,

And sat on the sofa ..

I keep going hot and cold...

I look up the Birthdays:

John Carpenter: American film director (Halloween, The Thing) is 71 years old.

 Paul Webb: bassist for Talk Talk, is 57 years old.

 Ted Cassidy:Actor (Lurch in Adams Family)

dies aged 46 in 1979. 

Bradford Dillman: American actor (Compulsion, Piranha, Sudden Impact, Enforcer),dies aged 87 in 2018.

I am going to try and have some chicken soup tonight for tea...

As I have lost my appetite for some reason :(

 I went to see my friend whose Birthday it was. Had a chat and coffee for a good 50 minutes..

She loved her card..😁

I popped to see my dad...

*There was a hunky actor on the television..*

 

 My dad,hubby or father-in-law didn't recognise the actor....

(I did).

Watching Lou with those rippling muscles made my day :) :)

 Goes to Job.

Got chatting to one of the workers while I was cleaning their kitchen.

He said,"He hasn't been called his real name all day, while working."

I replied to that,"If I got called those names and not my real name, they wouldn't be able to find the body......"

At least I got a laugh....

Then I cleaned the other kitchen, and I was telling about the hunky man I watched on television earlier to another co-worker...

She said she doesn't like muscles...

I laughed, and replied..

"Give me a muscle, and watch it grow!" 

Back home to chop chop.. 

 Sausages, cheesey mash, and peas.

We found another baking series on Netflix.

 The new series of The Great British Bake Off is back on August 28th at 8pm...\o/

 Best to find my walking shoes out...

Back on the wobbly walking wheel tomorrow...

Oh dear had a bad night...

Stomach upset and feeling sick :(

Looks like I have caught bug off hubby...

Light meals today....feel yuk!

Hubby dropped of Sexy Beast to have his MOT.

I spent most of the day either asleep or catching up with series 3 of 

 Sexy Beast had passed his MOT.

Now back to my sick bed....zzzzzz
