Shout To The Top!!

It is bitter to lose a friend to evil, before one loses him to death -
Mary Renault
Welcome to my TuesdayπŸ’Ÿ
Hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Gives hubby a wet sloppy πŸ’‹ before he goes to work.
I get dressed.
Then gets the kids up to have their breakfast before they go on-line early.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Out for some more needed fresh air,
&
Ride in Sexy Beast.
I gets the newspaper before it gets busy.
Limo and sister in law's car is still parked on my late dad's drive as I went past.
Much needed coffee
Then back out for a much needed sing-a-long..
Quick look in the newspaper.
Phil  Everly one half of the Everly Brothers.
(They were an American country-influenced rock and roll duo, known for steel-string acoustic guitar playing and close harmony singing.)
He would have been 82 years old 🎈
He died aged 74 in 2014
Michael Patrick Smith, CBE known professionally as Michael Crawford, is an English actor, comedian and singer.
He is 79 years old 🎈
Robert  Palmer was an English singer-songwriter, musician and record producer. He was known for his powerful, distinctive, gritty and soulful voice, sartorial elegance and for combining soul, jazz, rock, pop, reggae and blues.
He would have been 72 years old 🎈
He died aged 54 in 2003
I got a new facemask to wear today.
I looked over the fields of fun.
I had some fun looking after the children at dinnertime.
Back into Sexy Beast to guess the year...
Back home.
Light lunch..
Deciding on what films to watch this afternoon.
I first chose:
Changed my mind after 5 minutes to watch:
Really good film.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet kiss when he came home.
Now to serve up the tea!
Gammon with stuffing with onion gravy.
One film we are going to watch tomorrow which looks quite good is:
I found this on the Redditch Labour Facebook page:
Redditch Labour Party are pleased to see some information on the contents of the Town Deal bid - the maximum amount which can be granted is £25 million, and we hope that Redditch is successful in achieving that maximum amount.
The bid consists of the following proposals.
πŸ”˜ £8.5m to improve the train station area with a 2 storey building, open space and improved car parking, taxi rank and bus service area.
πŸ”˜ £8m for digital support to businesses including a 5G test bed and office / workshop space.
πŸ”˜ £4.1m to demolish the library building to create a public square. (NOTE - no information on a new location for the library if this is approved.)
πŸ”˜ £3m to improve Unicorn Hill, Church Green and Evesham Walk - including “street furniture” and “waymarking.”
πŸ”˜ £1.1m to improve eco projects mostly electric charging points. (This is across residential areas and Abbey Stadium as well as in the town centre.)
£4.1 million needed to demolish our library?????
Our Library houses the Job Centre, computers, and clubs.
It is our community hub!
Going to replace it with a public square?????
No news where it is going to go in the future!
It's been there for over 40 years!!!
I let rip on the Labour facebook and Conservative facebook telling it is a stupid mistake. No thoughts no planning.....
We carried on watching
With my Sleep Tea.
Going to try out my new boxes of grey tomorrow↓
We are expecting Storm Christoph tomorrow!
Will I need to row a boat to get the newspaper on Hump Day 🐫

Lights,Camera & Little Action!

Anyone could write a novel given six weeks, pen, paper, and no telephone or wife - Evelyn Waugh
At least I had a little lie-in...
The sun's rays were coming through the net curtains..↓
It was nice to have snuggles and a cup of tea in bed↓
 After breakfast.
We got up and went for a little ride↓
It went really cold last night..
It was well slippy outside↓
  And cold↓
Pick some bits up in the Dunelm sale↓
And to have a coffee with nibble↓
We bumped into some old friends in Lidl's.
We had a good yak
(Like you have to!)
We nipped into Argos to pick something up in their sale.
We finished up at Morrison's...
A nice bit of brew we had↓
 I had a late lunch↓
 My 1970's CD's came↓
While hubby and son went to do our food shop...
I had some serious housework to catch up on.
Washing machine back on...
Tumble drier back on..
Dish washer on...
All the bins emptied..
The recycling box emptied..
At least our new bedroom light works...↓
 When hubby came back...
Back out in Sexy Beast to check its tyres↓
 Once home,
The new yellow rug got put down in the Living Room↓
Even the new floor lamp I got today, looks nice in the Living room↓
I had a quick look in the newspaper....
