 Smokey [William] Robinson: American R&B and soul singer-songwriter (The Miracles),is 79 years old today. 
Lou Christie [Lugee Sacco]: American singer-songwriter (Lightning Striking Again),is 76 years old.
Falco [Johann "Hans" Hölzel]: Austrian rock vocalist (Rock Me Amadeus) would have been 62 years old.
(He died aged 40 in 1998)
Kelly Groucutt (born Michael William Groucutt): Bass guitarist and singer for the band Electric Light Orchestra died on this day aged 63 in 2009.
