Road Trip Time!

My idea of a good night out is a good night in - Jack Rosenthal
Welcome to my great Thursday out and about 🎇
Breakfast and Brew.
I got dressed.
We dropped off younger son off at the bus stop as he is going out with a friend to Warwick Castle.
Gets back home for a nice early coffee.
Out of the house we go.
We listened to Pop Master in the car.
The first person taking part got 21.
The second person got 33 out 39!
On to Kidderminister we go.
Hubby donated some pictures to the Carpet Museum.
Hubby's late dad and late granddad worked in the Carpet Factories in Kidderminster.
We parked in the Aldi car park.
We packed the rain macs just in case it decided to rain.
Time to hit the charity shops!
Oh dear, not good this time.
We did get some Pork Scratchings off the market.
Some great Dvds, pity I got them already↓↓
Off for coffee and nibbles.
We got 50% off the food ;)
We nipped TK Maxx....
A woman was trying it on at the other till over a watch she bought, (Didn't keep the receipt) and trying to buy the same watch but the price was higher than the previous watch she bought. Arguing with the Manager that she should be charged at the price of the old watch.
That wasn't going to happen!
Visits two more Charity Shops.
Drops off the things in the car, then into Aldi to gets some bits.
We put our shopping on the belt.
The woman in front, saw our milk and went off to get some, and then came back and said she only had enough for her bottle of wine and lemonade!
The woman on the till was having a good chat with the two people in front of us.
The man behind was getting inpatient and grumbing about being made to wait.
We paid for our things and left.
While we were walking back to the car, we got a lovely phone call from our friend Tracy who lives in Blackpool.
She had her flowers delivered this morning and she phoned up to say thank you for the flowers and Birthday card.
I said,"You are only 60 once, and it's a Big Birthday!"
Be seeing Tracy very soon ;)
Loaded up the car and off home we went.
Unpacks the shopping.
Unpacked my bits....
Put all my bits away.
Hubby got on with the till.
Quick read into today's newspaper.
Tea is ready.
Now to watch a great programme:
Sleep Tea.
The Friday Feeling is back tomorrow 🎈

Quick look in the newspaper afterwards:
Bernard "Bernie" Dwyer was an English Drummer most famous for his work with the 60s Manchester beat group Freddie and the Dreamers. He was the first Drummer for Freddie and the Dreamers when they first formed in 1963. Since he couldn't do The Freddie (A Dance move made by The Dreamers) during performances due to him being sat down, Dwyer would bob his head left to right. He remained in the band until 1971.
He sadly died aged 62 in 2002
The Beatles release "Beatles For Sale", their fourth studio album in 1964.
We carried on the four programmes on Live And Death Row.

The Mass Execution consists of four 60 or 75 minute episodes looking at the 8 inmates on Arkansas death row who's executions were pushed forward due to the expiration date on the Midazolam used in these executions.
The we watched Series 1 of Life and Death Row.
Episode 1, Execution:
With unprecedented access inside prison walls, it discovers what it's like to live with the threat of the death chamber, as well as hearing from victims and their families and the family of those on death row - some praying for execution, some hoping for a reprieve. Each episode focuses on a key aspect of the system - execution, trial and appeal.
For two of the youngest men on death row in Texas, execution day has arrived. Victim Nikki Daniels reflects on her kidnapping ordeal by murderer Richard Cobb and battles with her conflicting desires to forgive him, while the mother of death row inmate Anthony Haynes fights to use the final 72 hours to halt her son's execution for the murder of a police officer.
Episode 2:Judgement.
This film follows the trial of 26-year-old Guy Heinze Jr, with remarkable access to the jury members charged with reaching a verdict on allegations that Heinze beat his father and seven members of his family to death. As the trial progresses, there is legal manoeuvring while evidence about the brutal killings unfolds.
Sleep Tea time.
Now off to bed as the heating has gone off!
