 Puts the Angel Cake in the car ready to take part in the local Bake Off comp.

 

I hand my cake in and pay £3.

Now to enjoy cake & coffee

Has a go on the raffle..

My cake got judged...

 I didn't make the top 3...

I however I did make the fifth spot out of the eleven.

Hubby won some Dove products off his raffle ticket.

 Now to get back home for a light snack..

More Bake Off...

Hubby did my dad's shopping.

Now for chop chop...

Steak,with vegetables...

We caught up with the first episode of Masterchief...

Food shopping will have to wait until Wednesday...

Amazing what with little money,

Some great meals I can cook...

Making Full Use Of Saturday

 I was up before the sun was high in the sky.

Everyone was still asleep

 

 Breakfast for one↑↑

I listened to "Sounds of the 60's"

then

last week's programme too.

Some big tunes were played.

Now to enjoy the sunshine 

 

 

 

 with coffee...

 and singing along with  Alanis Morissette.

Back home..

 

 

 

 Now to do £20 food shopping.

Not mentioning the football....

Unloads shopping...

Watches the replays of the England match..

Even falls asleep watching it....

 

Soaking Up The Sun's Rays...

The weekend is finally here...

 My membership card arrived↓

 Nice day for it...

Hubby and kids went to collect it...

While I got the tools to tackle my dad's garden.

They arrived back with it.

We will tidy our garden tomorrow...↓

Now round to my dad's garden.

 

 

 

 After 4 hours, we made it better for him.

Gets home for herbal tea & nibble..

 Sits in the garden...

We enjoyed Polish dumplings
with sweet and sour sauce.

Now to rest my green fingers for tomorrow.....

Relieving Stress....

Made the most of the lie-in...🛏

Playing with the gear stick relieved my stress of the past week 😉

Bought some fresh bedding for our gerbils and hamster

Off to town for a upgrade on some running shoes...🏃🏃
