My Lumo Coat Isn't Bright Enough!

If you play with anything long enough it will break - Murphy's Law
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice big stretch \o/
We will be doing the Heardle later on.
First up,
Brew with Breakfast.
Dressed.
Now out of the house...
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leave.
I goes and gets newspaper.
Comes back for my Summer coat with gloves.
It is getting a bit colder in the mornings now!
Goes and turns on my lights.
Let's go to work!
The fun I have on a Monday morning!
Lots of cars failing to STOP
Boing Boing I go.
The blue mini whose driver called me a Arsehole, doesn't stop until I am in the middle of the road!
She done her normal Limbo dance under my stick. Only inches from her windscreen!
Lots of cars breaking at the last minute!
One set of parents comes out of the sideroad, instead of using me, they run over the road in front of moving traffic!
Then we have the lorry parking on double yellow lines!
I was glad to finish in one piece!
Back home I go.
I puts on the coffee machine.
Irons my clothes ready to put on for the job interview.
On goes some make up, tights and then clothes.
Quick coffee time.
Got everything ready to wear and folder.
Off I go.
Parks at where the job interview is being held.
Has a chat with some old customers of mine while they were enjoying the coffee morning.
Then I had a chat with one of the clerks.
"I do scrub up well, when I have too." I responded to how good I looked.
I got called into the interview.
3 people were on the panel to aske me questions.
"Do you have office experience?"
"None whatsoever!" I responded.
"How did you get ready for this interview?"
"Sorted out my certificates in order!"
I was thanked for coming.
In there for 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes.
Back home I go.
Got out of my best clothes.
Early light lunch is needed.
Now out I go for the afternoon shift.
By the look of those cloud and Google saying 50% of rain.
On goes the big coat.
Turns on my lights.
Sits in Sexy Beast.
My friends arrive for a good rabbit.
It was time to start,
I said goodbye to my friend.
Part 2.
Oh dear it's the same as this morning's shift.
It was like I was invisible again.
One van which failed to stop on the otherside of the road nearly had a tap and crack on his windscreen.
I think the button on my big stick which said "Invisible" was stuck on.
Lots of BOINGS given out!
The set of parents that fails to cross with me in the morning, and risk life and limb crossing in moving traffic, decides to cross with me in the afternoon instead!
The rain clouds disappeared, and the sun came out!
One van decides to park on the double yellow lines so I couldn't see any cars coming up the road!
I was glad to finish in one piece.
Back home.
Time for a much needed brew!
Now to try and update the blog!
I get a phone call from the place where I had my Job Interview.
I didn't get the job :(
However I was like a breath of fresh air in the interview!
Wrote one blog post.
Now onto a Meat-Free Stir Fry.
Hubby has gone back to playing snooker.
He didn't sound too well when he phoned me.
I looked into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1958:

US No.1 on this day in 1960:

Going Round And Round!

Dancing with her was like moving a piano - Ring Lardner
 Welcome to my Tuesday 🍭
A warm hug to start the day!
Brew with Breakfast.
The tea tasted RANK, as the water filter was running out in the kettle...
YUK YUK YUK!💩
I will change the filter when I get back.
Thermal vest went on....
While hubby was getting dressed.
Time to reveal Sexy Beast.
That had been a early frost.
So no scraping for me!
I gave hubby a nice wet sloppy one.
When I got to the car park, the entrance gate was locked, reversed Sexy Beast, and had to go through the no entrance gate instead.
Two winter hats and warm gloves went on.
Locked Sexy Beast, zipped up my coat, then dropped one of my gloves on the floor.
I'm not undoing my coat, let's play try to pick up glove with my big stick....
Done!
While waiting to put on my lights.
Someone asked:
"If I cross the kids here?"
"No, further down the road,"I replied.
Once I put on my lights.
Now for the fun to start!
My big stick and me kept turning invisible!
Felt like the Invisible lady.....
One car braked hard on the otherside of the road, the car behind nearly smacked into the car in front!
Plenty of BOINGs were given out!
I don't feel wearing blue flashing lights and music will stop those car drivers who fail to stop!
Anyhow I finished one piece!
I had a chat with my friend with his dog for 10 minutes.
I went to the Petrol Station to get some fuel.
The Petrol filler cap kept going round and round.
Not coming off. I asked one of the staff in the petrol station to help. Still going round and round!
I left with getting fuel...
I will see if hubby has the magic know-how how to get it off!
Picks up the newspaper on the way home.
Puts on the Coffee Machine.
Tried to look on You Tube to see if there is a way to get the petrol cap undone....
Nope was the answer.
Time for a much needed coffee!
Then onto writing yesterday's blog post.
Once done.
I finished off the soup....
I will make some more later.
Now for round 2.
I saw my friend again and had another chat for 10 minutes.
It didn't half feel cold.
The two hats went on, as well as warm gloves.
I turned on my lights.
Now time for a rabbit with my two friends.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now for Round 2.
It was cloudy, so no low lying sun to worry about. So there was no excuse not to stop!
Two cars overtook a man on a bike, coming up the road. The white BMW realised at the last minute there was a pedestrian refuge island in the middle of the road.
He then had to drop behind the man on the bike!
I had to give out the normal BOINGs!
Finished in one piece!
Home Time.
I put the soup maker back on .
Put our tea in the oven.
Made the salad for when the tea is ready to be served up.
Hubby came back and had a sloppy wet one.
He went out to look at my petrol cap.
Quick jiggle about, and it came off!
Magic hand saves the day!
 Now for tea.
Veggie Quiche with salad.
Now to watch another episode of:

I Should Stop Wearing My Invisibility Cloak!

If you play with anything long enough it will break - Murphy's Law
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug to start Hump Day.
Brew with Breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Dressed.
Gives hubby a lovely wet 😘 before I leave.
Double winter hats, and gloves go on.
Puts my lights on.
Now let's go to work ..🍭
Car drivers were stopping on my side of the road.
The otherside was different.
If they didn't have to stop, they won't!
One parent said, "I should stop wearing my Invisibility cloak!"
I laughed at that.
A least I finished in one piece!
On the way home, I collected the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine.
I put on the coffee machine.
Washing machine.
Time to do some rowing....
&
Spinning
Felt better after that!
Coffee time!
My boss is coming down tomorrow to see me.
She is retiring next month.
Better write in the card I bought for her and put it in the car for tomorrow.
I wrote some of yesterday's blog post up to lunch.
Now for round 2.
Time for those big big sunglasses to come out!
Still wearing the winter hat and gloves.
Puts on my lights..
I had a good rabbit with my two friends until I started for the afternoon shift.
Oh the fun I had.
One man in a Aqua on the side of his van, didn't like to stop and shot me evils when he went past.
Some on the otherside wasn't even stopping either!
Nevermind I finished in one piece!
Hometime.
On the way home, one large lorry failed to stop on the sliproad, and nearly took me out as I was going around the island, then at the last minute it turned left further up the road!
A cup of brew is called for!
I wrote the remaining bit of yesterday's blog post.
Then made the tea for tonight.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 when he came home.
Pork Chops, with stuffing on the top.
I looked in the today's newspaper.
