This Why I Don't Like Mondays!

Growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional
- Bob Monkhouse
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Breakfast and Brew
Dressed.
Even had to wear a jacket as it was quite chilly.
Now to leave the house.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leaves.
Now the fun to get to work.
A van had broken down opposite the petrol station, that was causing delays. Gets to the island, tries to turn left,
ROAD ClOSED.
Back past the broken down van, now to go to the busy way to work.
(The road is closed as a water pipe as burst and flooded the whole road)
Puts on my summer coat and summer hat.
&
Big big sunglasses.
They didn't have no newspapers in the corner shop. Walked further down the road to turn on my lights.
Goes back to Sexy Beast to pick up my big stick.
Goes and turns on my lights.
Now let's go to work....
One parent in a black SUV thinks it funny to brake the last minute, twice!
Some parents I was trying to cross over, didn't find it funny!
I had to give out two BOINGs as the cars on the other side wasn't stopping!
At least the sun was out!
Finished in one piece!
Off to Morrisons to get the newspaper.
Then to visit a Solictor's to sign and get my Statutory Declaration witnessed.
The Solictor asked "where I got the form from?"
"I printed off the internet,"I replied.
"The form is not legal......!" He said.
I will have to come back with the legal form.
Back home I went.
I need a strong coffee after that!
I tried to find the legal form.
Nothing!
I wrote yesterday's blog instead up to lunch.
No liquid lunch today.
I spoke to hubby on his dinner break.
I grabbed my rain mac as it wasn't looking too good for the weather.
Just get into the road where my spot is, and traffic lights!
We are going to have some fun later!
I just get the last space in the car park!
Gets my summer coat and summer hat.
Walks up to the first set of lights with one of my friends.
I ask the Open Reach worker is he is going to gone by the time I start...
He grumbles,"We should be out of your way by then."
I go off down to the Charity Shop.
I buy my book back, to be one of the prizes of the Bake Off next Friday.
I gets something else which will look nice.
Steam Engine goes past.
Says goodbye to the staff in the Charity Shop.
Turns on my lights and walks back to Sexy Beast.
It starts to rain down.
I put on my winter coat.
Drops the book into the Council Office.
We wait for the rain to stop to walk over to the square for a little rabbit.
The van was still blocking the middle of the road where I use to cross people over.
I say goodbye to my friends.
The traffic lights are still there.
I had to stop over the otherside of the road.
(Where I stay in the mornings)
Once the traffic lights were removed over the otherside of the road, and he parked to remove the traffic lights on my side, I crossed over the road to carry on. There was lots of traffic due to the road with the burst pipe being closed.
I was glad to finish in one piece!
As I was going home, the traffic was building up coming into the village.
Back home.
I put one lampshade up.
and the other one↓
Cup of brew is needed.
I had a early tea.
Looked into today's newspaper.
I went outside to put the recycling out.
Ouch!
A large black thorn went through my croc , sock and ended up in the bottom of big toe!
Got it out finally!
In need of some light relief!
The lampshades are looking good!
My youngest son gets my hat box down with the hat I am wearing for my friend's funeral tomorrow.
Sleep Tea time.
*It just happens to be Russ Abbot's 76th Birthday.
Nice little Birthday Tribute to great man at the end of the blog post.*
That lavender shower worked....
Out like a light....!
