We said hello to everyone.
Bought some nice stuff.
Said we have three boxes full of books to give them, when they get low on books.
Wished them a Happy Christmas.
We moved onto the next Charity Shop whose system went down, couldn't accept cards,so I had to dig deep for £7 in cash.
Back to the car and to move it to the Waitrose Car park.
The church on the hill.
We visited two more Charity shops.
The third one had a good song playing in the shop, and we had to sing along with it...
Nice Christmas Tree I found in Wilko↓
Then off for a coffee to warm up!
Then more Charity Shops to explore.
Salvation Army Band was out playing some great Christmas Tunes.
Next stop was to pick up some bits in Waitrose.
There was a brass band playing out the front.

I nipped into the final Charity Shop and found a Frank Ifield signed album!
I found out the story behind the album cover.
Let's have a little bit of Frank Ifield shall we?
Back home to unload all the bargains!
Light lunch...
Then we go out to put a wreath on my parent's grave.
Back home.

Dropping Them Off!

Clever food is not appreciated at Christmas. It makes the little ones cry and the old one nervous - Oliver Wendell Holmes
Welcome to my Sunday 💓
Mmmm nice warm hug.
Breakfast with brew.
Thermal vest went on.
Dressed.
I had Christmas cards to deliver.
Hubby had to go down to the Household tip to despose of the old tiles and anything thing else which was kicking about in the back garden.
He loaded up his car with one son.
I took the other son with me.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I left.
On the way down to drop the first Xmas card off, a yellow car passed me with 4 mouldy mattresses on top of it's roof.
Dropped 3 Xmas cards off, chattered with my friend while son was in the car.
My friend is coming to mine to collect her present, mince pies and xmas cake later on in the week.
By the time I got back, hubby was back home before me!
The same yellow car that had to mouldy mattresses on it's roof was parked next to hubby at the tip....
The mattresses were living in a field for months.......
Nice easy lunch...
Then I had two blog posts to write....
The Pork Joint went into the oven.
After two cups of lovely orange flavoured Hot Chocolate, we dozed off to wake up, to find it dark, and the curtains open with the heating on!
The Stuffing and vegatables were put on.
Tea is served!
Now to catch up with 4 episodes of the first series of Fame....
