Road trip time.
We popped into the Droitwich Lions Sale.
I picked up 3 Dvds.
Visited another Charity Shop and bought some nice bits.
We moved the car around the corner.
Still raining.
Now off to look around the Charity Shops.
Half way round, we had a coffee.
We looked in the 3 remaining Charity Shops.
Back to the car in an hour and 20 minutes.
Off to lidl to do some shopping....
Got shopping loaded up in the car.
Back home.
Unpacked the car.
The bargains I got today↓
Liquid lunch time.
Back out to a Charity Event.
Walks past my Lollipop Spot...
Nipped into the Charity Shop to say hi to everyone.
Saw my mate the Parking Attendant who I greeted with a big hug.
We walked around to the Charity Event.
No where to sit down for a coffee.
Won some hand gel on the raffle.
Back to the car in the rain.
The rain mac goes off.
Gets on with making tonights tea.
In the oven it goes...

Making Most Of The Saturday Sunshine!

Why buy a book when you can join the library? - Lily Savage
Welcome to my Saturday 🖌
It's going to be warm today!
Breakfast with brew time.
We listened to the "Sounds of the 60's"
While we were getting ready...
UK Top 3 Singles of This Week in 1967.
3:
Tom Jones - I'll Never Fall In Love Again
2:
The Beatles - All You Need Is Love
1:
Scott Mckenzie - San Francisco.
Dressed.
Watered the plants.
Loaded up the car.
Off we go....
We check on my late Father-in-law's house.
Oh dear we have damage alert in the Dining Room!
Puts it all back.
Opens all the windows.
More work for me to do in the back garden!
Hubby makes 2 trips to the Household Waste Site to get rid of the old Fridge, Freezer and empty gas bottles.
I meanwhile repainting the kitchen/bathroom walls and windows.
Coffee time with a nibble time.
More painting to do.
The neighbour was having a good eyeful when I was on the step-ladder trying to paint the top of the Dining Room window.
The Step-ladder nearly tipped off when I tried to reach a bit higher than I should have.
The Plumber arrived to disconnect the applications in the kitchen.
I got down to have a yak with him.
All was disconnected and put outside.
Someone from the flats opposite wanted the Tumble Drier.
They took it away...
Then later on someone, took everything else away for free \o/.
The kitchen looks well empty now!
Time for another drink and nibble!
Found the instructions for the missing items that belonged in the kitchen↓↓
Finished painting the back door.
Coming back tomorrow to add the second coat on the walls and window frames and door.
It was getting well warm when we left.
I bet some neighbours are banging their gums at seeing the above left on the pavement!
Back home.
Nice cold drink is needed!
Tea time.
We caught up with four episodes of "Top of the Pops" from 1993.
Oh dear, that fast forward button was used a lot!
