Remembering Our Dads...

A hard man is a good to find - Mae West
Father's Day
Welcome to a lovely Sunday 💓
We were up early so I could take hubby out for breakfast...
I had the Continental breakfast.
Hubby had the Full English one.
It was nice to have the Nutella chocolate spread for once!
Once finished.
Popped to see my dad with his balloons 🎈
Someone has been buried one up from my parent's grave↓
Wished my dad a happy Father's Day.
Back home.
Hubby had some nice presents of our kids.
What comes with happiness today comes a bit of sadness.
Last year's Father's Day we took out hubby's dad for a meal↓
The last time my dad, hubby's dad got together was 2018↓
As 2019 was Dad was bed-bound.
In 2020, my dad passed away.
Gone but never forgotten 💓💓💓💓
Our local radio station played a request for my hubby for Father's Day.
Even played the song we wanted....↓
We did today's Heardles.
Heardle 60s was:
My son's answers↓
Hubby had to sort through some of his late dad's things.
A trip down Memory lane...
It was while performing in Cinderella on 1st January 1986, Dustin Gee had a Heart Attack.
He sadly didn't recover and passed away on the 3rd January 1986 aged 43 :(
We went back out to see if younger brother had took anything off the grave.
It was still the same from this morning
Rechecked my tyre pressures on Sexy Beast.
Actually now up to date on the blog now \o/
After our lovely steak meal.
I watched a programme about my late dad's favourite singer...
Quick look into the newspaper again.
