Welcome to my Saturday π£
Heardle Time!
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Now for some brew with breakfast. Hubby and younger son went off to do some food shopping.
I put on the coffee machine.
I went onto BBC sounds to listen to "The Sounds of the 60s" with coffee.
Then I wrote yesterday's blog post. 3:
Zager & Evans - In The Year 2525
Robin Gibb - Saved By The Bell.
The Rolling Stones - Honky Tonk Women
Unpacked the shopping.
Our kids went to help at the School Uniform Bank↓
Cold coffee and nibble time. Got caught up in the four way traffic lights on the way, glad I know a few short cuts so not to sit in them too long! Those dark clouds don't look good! Now to have a look around some charity shops. First one had vinyl records... A unicorn, which I bought!
Next Charity Shop had a nice crochet blanket for sale. Then as I bought it, everyone was talking about each other's level of crocheting!
I am a true beginner I said.
At least the blanket will keep me warm in the winter!
Nice shoes pity they are not my size! One charity shop had a Minion I didn't own,
Then they had another for sale!
Got some bits from Waitrose.
Drink time↓
Back home to unpack all my bargains. Another Unicorn for my collection! My Minion collection is now growing... Sorting things out on the planner to watch later. It's down to 9%....
'Allo,'Allo: 40 Years of laughter.
Tea.
3 episodes of "Top of the Pops" to watch. My fast forward button was being used.
At least 2 Unlimited was still in the top 10 with:
Then watched a half an hour special on the 50th Anniversary of the Godfather. Followed by:
Top of the Pops - Secrets and Scandals.
Quickly looked into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1977: Brotherhood of Man - Angelo
US No.1 on this day in 1977: The Emotions - Best Of My Love
Now off to a warm bed with a even warmer hubby...
