The to give some roses to my mum and dad.
Then off to look at a Christmas Display↓
Now to look outside....
Now to go back in to pay for my plants.
Once paid for my plants.

Then time for a bit of gardening......
Cut back plants.
Moved some plants around.
Tidied up the garden.
Once all done.
Now to try and make some vegan pastry!
It didn't stick together too much.
In the end the kids had it on top of  their pie.
While I did mashed potato for ours.
In the oven it all went!
It didn't help my hubby knocking off my goose off the top of my cupboard!
Will make sure the other one is safe on top of the fridge freezer.
Tea is ready.
Yum!

Lent Is Looming!

There is nothing in the world more reassuring than an unhappy lottery winner - Tony Parsons
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug to start the Hump Day with!
Brew with breakfast.
Hubby woke the kids up ready to start their on-line learning.
He was working from home today.
(He will be glad of the silence, when I go and fetch the newspaper, I'm sure of it!)
We needed some bits of shopping before we do our shopping on Friday.
After the experience I had in Morrisons last Sunday, I decided to do click and collect from Asda.
If I wanted it in the afternoon, I had 15 minutes to do the order, and pay for it...
Tried to remember everything we needed,
Oh dear I was late by 1 minute....
If I wanted it between 2-3pm,
It will be £3.
Fine by me, I don't have to enter the store....
Give it to me!
I looked outside and saw we had some more snow overnight.
Thermal knickers were worn and 4 layers of clothing!
Time for me to go and get the newspaper!
I was glad to go in Sexy Beast, as some of the pavements were deadly with lots of ice!
No one was at my late dad's house, only the limo and my younger brother's wife's car.
(Should charge them for parking really ;))
In need of a much needed hot coffee..
Quick read of the newspaper.

I wrote yesterday's blog.
We finally had some post after having none for the last two days!
My son's 15 tog duvet was among the post, as well as 2 bread mixes and a balloon for Mother's Day.
We had 2 more deliveries including the matching teddy fleece sheet and matching duvet cover for younger son.
He has been upgraded to a king size duvet, as with a double duvet (He has a double bed), his feet stick out under the double duvet.
(My late dad had a problem when he went on holiday, always a small bed and his feet stuck out under the duvet, he was well over 6ft 2 tall.
My younger son is creeping over 6ft too).
Lunchtime
Now to pick up my click and order order from Asda.
That should keep us  going for a bit.
Puts it all away.
Tea at 3.
Lent starts next Wednesday.
So you knows what that means.....
No cake or chocolate for 6 weeks.
Doesn't help my Birthday is at the end of the month!
Next year I am saved from this.
Next year is a Big Big Birthday, and Lent doesn't start until March 2rd!

Hubby went off to see his dad and have tea with him.
My kids and I enjoyed a lamb tea.
However there was more fat then meat on this bit of lamb :(
I made my plans on what I am doing tomorrow as hubby is back in the office.
