Goodbye To August!

My wife was looking through a fashion magazine, and she saw a fur coat. She said, "I want that." So I cut it out and gave it to her - Tommy Cooper
Welcome to my Tuesday 🌼🌼🐧
It was nice to have a warm hug.
Breakfast with brew.
I gave hubby a nice sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he went to work.
Dressed.
Last day of August!
That went quick!
It's my youngest brother's 37th Birthday tomorrow.......
Not long before I go back to work....
Now to get some gardening done...
My postman gave me my parcel I should have had on Saturday.
His excuse was the trackers came in AFTER he went out, he looked at it when he came back in, and thought she can wait for it until Tuesday.
Funny when I worked for Royal Mail, you had to wait for the trackers to come in..
(Must have changed the rules since I left)
Back to sorting out the gardening.
My Trellises arrived.
I put them in the garden.
At least the flowers can grow up them.
Watered all the plants.
Sorted out the bit of garden for the time being.
More to be added soon...
The garden looking well nice!
Lunchtime.
Now to get on with writing 3 blog posts!
I had time for Tea at 3.
The Delivery Driver from earlier,
And gave a bit of my trellis that came off in his lorry.
That was nice of him!
As hubby was visiting his dad again.
Time for Meat free Stir Fry.
Quick look in today's newspaper.
Larry Grayson , (born William Sulley White), was an English comedian and television presenter who was best known in the 1970s and early 1980s. He is best remembered for hosting the BBC's popular series The Generation Game and for his high camp and English music hall humour.
His camp stand-up act consisted mainly of anecdotes about a cast of imaginary friends; the most frequently mentioned were Everard, Apricot Lil and Slack Alice. He is often cited as one of the first gay entertainers to have enjoyed mass appeal, although he never made any reference to his sexuality. He was devoted to his home town of Nuneaton, where a museum display relating to his life and work and a memorial have been established.
He would have been 98 years old 🎈
He died aged 71 in 1995.
Michael Sheard  was a Scottish character actor who featured in many films and television programmes, and was known for playing villains. His most prominent television role was as strict deputy headmaster Maurice Bronson in the children's series Grange Hill, which he played between 1985 and 1989. He appeared as Admiral Ozzel in The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
He died on this day in 2005 aged 67
I watched the first episode of a new series on 9/11.
Hubby came back to watch it as well.
Sleep Tea time.
Hoping for a Dry Hump tomorrow 🐫

Saying Goodbye To Our Holiday.

A warm welcome back, folks! For the record, no amount of fasting and prayers will erase the fact that we have lots of work to do. On that note, let’s get started!
I was up early again..
 The sun is coming up↑
Hubby was loading up his car↓
Then we go for a walk before breakfast.
We have the newspaper ready to read on the way home.
We said goodbye to Simon and Rhona.
One last look of the front.

After an hour and half of driving.
Time for a rest and a drink of coffee!
I got some magazines to give me ideas on how to do up our house on a budget!
 Driving into the rain
 We arrive back home safely!
 We unpack car.
I enjoy a coffee and nibble before I go back to work↓
I come back to see hubby had mowed the lawn.
It looked so nice until I noticed some of the grass hadn't been cut near the garden table.
He then told me, he had cut through the cable to the mower.....
Good job the mower was plugged into safety plug!!!!
*Now on the look out for another lawn mower*
The boss of the scafforders came round to see if nothing was in the way so they can start putting up the scafford up tomorrow.
We had some nice tea.
Then round to see my dad.
We got back home after two hours.
It was so nice to get back in our own bed :)

Starting The New Year With A Clean Up!

“I’m a little bit older, a little bit wiser, a little bit rounder, but still none the wiser” – (Robert Paul)

New Year's Day
Welcome to 2019!
We watched the firework display up our road last night πŸŽ†
We brought the coal, silver coin, food and a glass of whiskey through the front door and out the back door.
Then we watched the London Fireworks on catch up πŸŽ†
Finally dragged myself to bed at 1.30am...
It was nice to wake up to a cup of tea..
Forgot to stock up on the milk yesterday.
Not enough for breakfast.
Wrote a nice list, and out of the house in Sexy Beast.
We had a nice CD to listen to...
Everyone was grabbing the reduced food like it was going out of fashion.
We only got the stuffing balls and some ham slices.
Had to get some backing dark chocolate as it was on offer!
(Never have enough of baking chocolate in this house!)

Once we finished, we went home.
Then we had loads of things to do:
Take down the Christmas πŸŽ„ and decorations inside and out.
Sorted out the garden.
Tidied up the Living Room and Kitchen.
Checked Fridge for out of date food.
We put the shopping away.
Moved around some of my quotes in the hallway.
Moved my hearts from the kitchen to hallway.
Even Henry came out for the New Year!
My brother who dressed as a woman last night at a party, returned my Pearls
While the chicken was cooking in the oven.
I had a quick look at the Birthdays:
"F. R." David (born Elli Robert Fitoussi):
French singer (Words) is 72 years old.
Hank Williams - American country singer (Cold Cold Heart), dies at 29 in 1953.
Cesar Julio Romero Jr:American actor (Batman, Ocean's 11), dies at 86 in 1994.

Simon & Garfunkel's: "Sounds of Silence" reaches #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966.

We put up the new calenders in the kitchen.

I highlighted the main points for this month.....

It's back to work, and back to school....

Now to enjoy pudding!
