Might As Well Look At A Pinecone!

There is not enough time to do all the nothing we want to do
- Bill Watterson
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
Now time to go to work ...🍭
Gives hubby a big hug, before I go to work.
On goes the summer coat and summer hat.
&
Big big sunglasses.
I walked down the road to turn on my lights.
I walked back up to get my big stick.
Now to turn on my other lights.
Let's go to work...🍭
One Taxi driver just ignored my Stop sign on the otherside and put his hand up when he went past. On my side of the road, I just lowered it down a bit lower, so they couldn't drive under it!
Finished in one piece.
Now down to the Co-op to get my newspaper.
I got some bits for tea on the reduced stand.
Back home.
Empties all the bins in the house as the black bin is being emptied tomorrow.
Has a hot lemsip.
Cooks the cauliflower and broccoli
Fries up the garlic, mushrooms, and onion.
Makes a cheese rue, adds it together and in the oven for later on it goes.
Now for some liquid lunch.
I chat with hubby on his dinnerbreak.
I had to leave early, as there are two groups having meetings in the Village Hall and I need a parking space.
I puts on my summer coat and summer hat.
The weather forecast said no rain.
Meets up with one friend who we walked to the Chemist.
We bumped into my late friend's son who we had a good laugh and will see his dad next week.
Walked into the chemist and my other friend was sat there waiting for a perscription for his brother-in-law.
We leave the chemist, and it starts to rain.
I go back to Sexy Beast and changes into my Winter coat.
Walks  up to turn on my lights.
Goes back to Sexy Beast, so one friend can get his coat from his car.
We then walk down to turn on my other lights.
On the way back up we bump into our other two friends. I went and collected my big stick and came back for a rabbit in the square in the rain.
It stopped raining, five minutes before I was to start my shift.
I said goodbye to all my friends.
Then the sun came out!
I didn't have time to go and get my big big sunglasses.
The car drivers on the otherside of the road was causing problems.
I was in the middle of the road with my stick donw, and a woman driver just ignored me and carried on driving!
The car drivers on my side, had to brake hard at the last minute.
At least I survived that shift.
Home time.
I puts on the oven.
Time for a bit of a brew.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came back home for a special hug.
Dished up the Caulifower Cheese.
Yum!
Looked into today's newspaper.
I had to have another lemsip as I was feeling terrible :(
Blowing hot and cold.
Sore throat
Blocked nose.
I will take another Covid test tomorrow morning.
Just to be sure!
Sleep Tea time.
There will be no humping here, just feeling awful!

Getting Them Out (Again!)

The eleventh commandment: thou shalt not be found out -
George Whyte- Melville
Welcome to my Storm Barra Tuesday 🌀
Nice warm hug.
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest added.
Dressed.
Out they come again
 Sexy lumo trousers.
As the Storm Barra is coming in today....
I give hubby a wet one 😘
On goes 2 winter hats, waterproof gloves and boots.
Puts on my lights.
Now let's go to work!
Oh dear, four cars had to do emergency brake!
The look I had when they had to stop.
The rain held off, however the wind was getting up.
At least I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
I put on the coffee machine.
My son has finished the 1000 piece jigsaw he bought on Saturday.
It took him 24 hours to complete it \o/
Just got to get a picture frame for it now.
Coffee time.
Now to write the interesting blog post from yesterday all the way to lunch!
I was umming to whether to put those sexy yellow trousers back on for the afternoon shift.
I looked out the front door and it was coming down heavy!
On goes the sexy lumos yet again!
On goes 2 winter hats, waterproof gloves, and boots. I go and put on my lights.
I chat to one friend as the other friend has gone for a Christmas Meal with his sister.
10 minutes before I was due to start, the rain stops and the sun comes out!
I said goodbye to my friend and started my afternoon shift.
I have the normal ones on the otherside of the road, that can't understand they have to stop when my stick comes out!
One Amazon van decides to park on my side of the road, on double yellow lines, so it was making me harder to see cars up the road and the car drivers to see sticking out my stick.
There were 2 Amazon parcels left by a front door in view of everyone.
The owner returned before I finished and looked at the parcels left outside and wasn't happy!
The wind was getting up making it colder that it was.
At least I finished in one piece and dry!
Hometime.
Nice cup of tea is needed!
Then to chop up food for tea.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 when he came back.
Tea is served.
Lovely Veggie Option.
The 7th Advent Door is....↑
I looked in today's newspaper.
Harry Chapin  was an American singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and hunger activist best known for his folk rock and pop rock songs. He achieved worldwide success in the 1970s. Chapin, a Grammy Award-winning artist and Grammy Hall of Fame inductee, has sold over 16 million records worldwide.
Chapin recorded a total of 11 albums from 1972 until his death in 1981. All 14 singles that he released became hits on at least one national music chart.
As a dedicated humanitarian, Chapin fought to end world hunger. He was a key participant in the creation of the Presidential Commission on World Hunger in 1977. In 1987, Chapin was posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for his humanitarian work.
He would have been 79 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 38 in 1981.
Greg Lake  was an English singer, songwriter, bassist, guitarist and record producer. He gained prominence as a founding member of the progressive rock bands King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP).
He died on 7 December 2016 in London, of pancreatic cancer, at the age of 69.
We carried on watching
"I am a Killer" on Netflix.
Intended Evil
After shooting his ex-girlfriend and her new lover, Charles Thompson is charged with manslaughter -- until his ex dies due to a hospital error.
Declared Competent
No one -- including David Lewis himself -- disputes that he committed murder. But Lewis's mental fitness remains in doubt despite his death sentence.
Family Affair
High on a drug that fuels his paranoia, Deandra Buchanan fatally shoots his aunt, stepfather and girlfriend -- a crime he claims he can't recall.
Sleep Tea time.
More rain and wind tomorrow...
Just in time for Hump of the Week 🐫
