No Fuel, But There's Plenty Of Food!

Always buy a good pair of shoes and a good bed, because if you're not in one, you're in the other - Joan Collins
Welcome to my Saturday ⌛
I didn't get up early today like any other Saturday, when I wake up at 6am!
I will catch up with Sounds of the 60s during the week on catch up.
Nice to have a warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Hubby is having his flu jab this morning.
Now to leave the house
Making the most of the nice weather!
The scandals come out!
First we drop off son at his work place.
Then onto town we go.
We parks in Car Park 4, as
Car Park 7 has been knocked down!
Onto Boots for hubby's flu jab.
Once that was done, we bought the newspaper and a coffee to go.
Back home to start back on emptying the loft.
We had lunch halfway through sorting through boxes. There is a nice big pile to go to the tip tomorrow morning.
Hubby done one trip to the Storage unit with son.
When he got back, we had tea.
Then it's on the search for hubby to get some Diesel for his car.
We managed to get some from Morrisons. Then the queues started to form.
I got my first Magic Bags of the evening from Morrisons in Astwood Bank.
The staff in the Petrol Station had not experienced the demand for petrol before.
They had run out of diesel and running low on unleaded.
Told them to write a funny message and leave it out for the car drivers when they run out of unleaded!
Then onto M&S which is also a Petrol Station.
They had run out of fuel except food.
I got my Magic Bag.
Moved onto Waitrose on the motorway services.
Not a lot of queues at that petrol station.
Got my Magic Bag.
Now back home to unpack them all!
Then we watched...
Then I looked into today's newspaper.

I got invited out for coffee before work...
"Yes please".
 I replied to the invite!
A little bit of singing on the way..
The sun is really bright↓
Now for coffee, yak and chocolate biscuits!
I thanked my friend for the coffee...
Now to get to work with some singing-a-long
I looked over the fields of fun...
I made some people laugh...
(Made my day that did!)
Nothing was mentioned about yesterday
(It will be in the near future, I'm sure about that!)
Back to Sexy Beast and the singing...

The sun was still shining except the wind was a bit too strong to sit out in!
Light lunch time↓
I finished writing yesterday's blog post.
Now to look in the freezer for something for tea tonight....
Found something.
Belated Tea at 3.
I put the tea in the oven.
Gave hubby a big wet 💋
Back to do the daily walk we miss this morning...
Plenty to talk about on this walk...
Another 0.71miles to add to the total this week!
Tea is ready↓
Now to burn it off ....
Last visit of the week to work.
Big tune to start with↓
I was glad I built a sweat up,
As it was freezing cold when I got home.
We treated ourselves to 2 episodes of NYPD Blue, from season 10.
Once that fresh duvet cover and throw was put on the bed...
Time to warm up those cold hands!
Let's celebrate, the weekend will be here soon 🎈
