Time For A Quick Play!

You can't have everything. I mean where would you put it? -
Steven Wright
Welcome to my Tuesday Fun 👍
Nice big hug to start the day with...
HEARDLE TIME 😁
Today's 60s Heardle was:
My son's answers:
Breakfast with Brew.
Gets dressed.
Now to get some fresh air!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave.
I get next door's magazine and my newspaper.
On goes the summer coat and big big sunglasses.
Now to put on my lights.
Now to rock 'n' roll....
Oh dear,
4 emergency stops 🚫
Plenty of BOINGS given out.
At least I had sunshine!
Finished in one piece.
I nipped into Co-op to stock up on my salads for the week.
Back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Kenny comes out for a quick play...
Once cake is made,
Into the oven it went.
Coffee time.
Then I wet and watered all the plants in the garden.Gave them a good drink.
Took cake out of the oven to cool down.
It might need another level, as the cake is a bit small.....
Salad time!
Yum!
Back out to do Part 2.
I put on my summer coat.
Turned on my lights.
It was a bit too windy for lolly.
I sat in the square and one friend came.
We still had a good rabbit...
It now time to say goodbye.
Now for Part 2...
Three cars went straight under my stick,
Perhaps I should lower it.....
Tap and Crack time???
At least it stayed dry!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
The balloons and bunting had arrived.
However due to it going to rain overnight,
I will put it all up tomorrow morning while the Birthday Boy is taking his A-level Chemistry exam.
Sorted out his presents ready to be wrapped up.
Hubby comes home, and has a sloppy wet one.
Tea is ready.
More Salad with Quiche.

The Price Of A Balloon Keeps Going Up!

I don't fit in.I'm like the only one in a nudist colony with a duffle coat - Victoria Wood.
Welcome to my Saturday 🎈
The big bed was so lovely!
While having the first cup of tea, we did all the Heardles.
60 Heardle was:
Now to use that big shower....
Lovely!
I had the bill for the room.
I was charged £15 for the balloon!
(Next time I will bring my own!)
Down for breakfast.
The view from our table.
I didn't have the cooked breakfast.
Hubby did.
After we finished,
Off to the room to collect our things.
We put them in Sexy Beast.
Now to look around the grounds.
I handed the key in.
Told the receptionist I wasn't happy on being charged £15 for one single balloon. That was the only blot on our stay.Next time I will bring my own balloon!
Now back home.
Back home to unpack the overnight bag.
Hubby went out with son to do the shopping.
I had balloon to pump up for son's 18th birthday tomorrow.
Now to sort out the bunting for the garden.
Hubby came back with younger son with the food shopping.
Unpacked it all.
Still can't get a picture on our television when using Sky :(
Will have to get someone in I suppose!

Out Comes The Bunting & Balloons!

It works better if you plug it in - Sattinger's Law
Welcome to my Thursday 😌
One day to go until my hubby's Birthday.
He has his Hawaii 5-0 last year!
Sunshine time!
We did all Heardles.
Heardle 60s was:
Time for brew and breakfast.
Dressed.
Out of the sunshine...
Big big sunglasses time.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave.
I get my newspaper before the Summer coat goes on.
Summer coat goes on.
The road works are still there.
More fun expected.
Puts on my lights.
Now to Rock 'n' Roll...
Soon both sides of the road are blocked.
One parent comes out of the road up from me.
Instead of crossing with me, she drags her child over the road in moving traffic, and does the same on the way back!
(Yet she crosses with me in the afternoon!)
I had to give out a few BOINGs as they got through the traffic lights and no intention of stopping for me!
My younger brother went past me in his van,I just didn't look at him, I kept staring down the road.
Finished in one piece.
The coffee morning is on a bit later↓
I leave Sexy Beast in the car park.
First stop was some bits from the Co-op.
Chats with a former customer for half an hour.Even his wife was looking for it.
I shouts up to her,"Give him an hour to repeat what I said to him!"
Next stop was a visit into the Charity Shop.
Picked up a bargain for £5.
When I got to the Coffee morning, I asked,"If I could buy the whole Chocolate cake?"
The answer was yes for a donation.
Donation paid, put cake into a  Heros plastic box.
I also bought 3 pieces of cake to take back home.
I meanwhile had a coffee with cake :)
My friends arrived who I chat with in the afternoon.
More rabbit to do...
We all had a go on the raffle.
After my second cup of the coffee, we left.
See you all later I said.
Back home.
Time to blow up some balloons...
One son already had his cake!
Finds the bunting to put up in the garden.
Then it rains....
(Will put it up when I get back!)
Salad time.
Now out for part 2!
Puts on my summer coat.
Then puts on my lights.
It still is raining!
The hole has been filled in, and has been covered in tarmac.
However the traffic lights are still there.
One friend arrives and we stay under the shelter until it stops.
We carry onto the square for a chat,
Then my other friend arrives and now it's time for a little rabbit...
One of the pupils from the High School was waving a great big Pride Flag.
I gave him a smile.
I heard him say,
"I am getting a lot of smiles from people, when I wave the flag!"
I said goodbye to my friends.
Let's hope it's better that this morning.
Nope!
Cars just doing the Limbo Dance under my stick.
One BMW nearly has her car ariel ripped off by going under my big stick!
One red car had stopped in the Keep Clear Space.
I needed to cross some parents over with pushchairs. When she saw me coming over the road, She mouthed, Oh F**k, and reveresed her car back, so the parents and kids could cross over.
One girl came home to find her mum had put balloons and a Birthday Banner on the front door.
She was not best pleased with it!
Still the cars were failing to stop. It got to the point, where nothing was moving either sides.
I was glad to finish in one piece.
Back home.
The sun is out.
Time to put up the bunting for Birthday boy!
I then put the tea on.
Hubby came home and was very impressed with how the garden looks....
Now to give him a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is served.
Yum.
Quick look in today's newspaper.
USA No.1 on this day in 1979:
Bee Gees - Love You Inside Out
USA No.1 on this day in 1984:
Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time
Made sure all the birthday presents were wrapped up, and cards wrote out.
Sleep Tea Time.
Early night as we have got a very busy day tomorrow...🎈
