It is my late good friend's Heavenly 89th Birthday today. I had known for him for over 30 years.

He died in May 2020. His family didn't even bother telling me when his funeral was, only too late for me to attend. Don't get me started on what his wife said to me at his final Christmas.

I posted Birthday greetings on his FB page last year and his wife drove past me twice in the morning just looking at me! Gone but never forgotten. A True friend 💓 

Breakfast and Brew. 

Dressed.

It was forecasting rain again.

On goes those sexy lumo trousers.

Out of the house I go.

I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I left.

On goes the winter hat, winter coat and waterproof boots.

I go and turn on my lights and fetch my newspaper on the way up.

Swaps my newspaper for my big stick.

Now to turn on my other lights.

Walked to my spot.

The rain kept off.

It still was cold and windy.

The village hall car park was filling up with Open Reach vans.

I saw two boxes of breakfast being delivered.

Still had cars on the otherside ignoring me.

I gave out one BOING on a van on my side that failed to stop!

Finished in one piece.

I chattered to a parent for 25 minutes on a catch up with what is going on.

Back to Sexy Beast.

Car park full up. 

Back home.

Cup of coffee before doing anything else.

Tumble drier was put on for the final time.

Loaded up the dishwasher.

Sorted out the washing that was dry.

Wrote yesterday's blog post up to the liquid lunch.

My lego creations came.

(They are going on top of the upcoming Christmas Cake, I am making)

I talked to hubby on his lunch break.

Now out in the sunshine ...

On goes the winter hat, winter coat 

&

Big big sunglasses.

Turned on my lights.

I caught up with someone and told him how his friend was doing with the big C.

Went into the Charity Shop, to say hi.

There was nothing in there.

Turned on my other lights.

I am going to have problems with this low lying sun...

Gets my big stick out of Sexy Beast.

Off to the square with my friends for a little rabbit.

As soon as it was time to start, I said goodbye to all my friends.

Everyone was moaning about the low lying sun except me!

One car went straight under my stick again!

Then another one!

I can sense a TAP and CRACK is going to happen soon.

Stopping in the Keep Clear space doesn't help either! 

Finished in one piece.

Home time.

Cup of brew is needed.

Chopped up onions, mushrooms and garlic.

Put the linguine in a saucepan.

Hubby came home and had wet sloppy one 💋

Tea is served.

Yum.

Quick look into today's newspaper.

Now to watch another Bond film..

Great film :)

I go down and turn on my lights.

Picks up the newspaper on the way back up.

Swaps the newspaper for my big stick.

Now to turn on my other lights.

Let's go to work...🍭

Oh dear, one old woman nearly had her windscreen clipped as she drove through.

(The look of terror when she went past)

Another car went under my stick and could have took off her car ariel!

Plus the last minute car braking didn't help either!

At least the sun was out!

Finished in one piece.

Now to look at a newly installed fence! 

That's good :)

Back home.

Coffee time.

Unloaded and loaded up dishwasher.

Making full use of this sunshine.

Washing machine goes on.

Then the washing gets put on the line.

I go and sit on the bench to soak up some rays before lunch.

Liquid lunch time.

I talked to hubby on his lunch break.

Now out into the sunshine...

On goes the summer hat and summer coat.

&

Big big sunglasses.

I put on one set of lights, and walked down to the Charity Shop.

Said hi to everyone.

Turned on my lights, and got my big stick out of Sexy Beast. 

Met up with everyone for a quick rabbit.

I said goodbye to everyone when I was due to start.

Still had car drivers not observing my Stop sign!

Few BOINGs given out on the car on the otherside of the road.

At least I finished in one piece.

Back home.

Sat in the front garden to chill out.

Hubby was going to get a takeaway on the way home.

Hubby had a sloppy wet one 💋 when he came home, armed with the takeaway.

Yum.

Now to look into today's newspaper.

James Bond time again...

We caught up on the news and newspaper review.

Time To Bake A Cake!

Now to leave the house to go to work!

On goes my summer coat and summer hat.

I walk down to turn on my lights.

Gets my newspaper.

Swaps my newspaper for my big stick.

I turned on my lights.

Off to my spot I went.

The Flower lorry came up the road, there was no room for where it normally parks. It just parked opposite me. The traffic started to build up. After five minutes it went up the road, turned round and came past and parked further down the road.

Besides that and cars not stopping the other side of the road, my morning shift went better than expected.

Finished in one piece.

Now back home to bake a cake.

Coffee first.....

Kenny the Kenwood comes out for a quick play.

This isn't a Birthday cake for hubby's birthday on Saturday. No, it's a leaving cake for a good friend, who works in the newsagent shop where I get my paper from and gossip from!

In the oven it went.

Now for some liquid lunch.

I spoke to hubby during his lunch hour.

Now to do the afternoon shift.

On goes those big big sunglasses.

Summer coat and summer hat goes on. I turn on both lights. Nips into Charity Shop for a look, chat, and laugh. Goes back to Sexy Beast to collect my  big stick.

I sit in the square to soak up the rays!

My friends arrive for a little rabbit up to when I start my afternoon shift.

I said goodbye to my friends.

A few car drivers fail to stop on the otherside of the road.

I made it in one piece.

Back home I go.

Starts on the cake.

Puts the tea in the oven.

Hubby comes home, and has a sloppy wet one 💋

Tea is served.

I needed more bits for the cake.

Nipped down to Morrisons.
