Getting Ready To Show Off The Sequins!

When having my portrait painted I don't want justice, I want mercy - Billy Hughes
Welcome to my Thursday Fun With Apples Day 🍏
Time to do the Heardles:
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast and Brew....
Dressed.
Now to get out of the house!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leave.
The sun might have been out.
Still a bit nippy.
Lots of layers to put on, under my Summer Coat.
Panda hat went under my summer hat.
I got the newspaper.
Now to turn on my lights!
Let the fun start 🍭
I gave out 5 BOINGs.
&
Tested some car brakes.
There was fun of a red car further down the road so the flower couldn't park in it's normal parking space. So it parked opposite me on double yellow lines!
Any other time, the lorry driver, waves at me when it goes past me.Not this time. Must have the Thursday Mood!
I finishe in one piece.
I nipped into the Co-op for some bits then home I went.
I put on the coffee machine.
I swept the path outside of leaves and old pears.
Got some large Bramley Apples for my friends.
In the bag they went, and in Sexy Beast.
Time for a much needed coffee.
Then two washing machine loads went on the washing line.
My new book arrived↓
As did my delayed Amazon from the day before.
Pity they couldn't find my front door!
Light lunch time!
Now to do the afternoon shift!
I just put on my Summer coat and summer hat when my friends to collect the large bag of apples.
They thanked me for them.
One of my friends asked, "If I know anyone who can do a wreath for a funeral?"
I do and she does lovely wreaths↓
She made my dad's wreaths and my late mum's flowers :)
She is very good at it :)
I will pass my friend's number over to her.
I put on my lights.
Then it was time for a little rabbit with my two friends.
Until it was time to say goodbye.
Part two time.
The wind was getting up again!
Some drivers just ignored my big stick again on the otherside of the road and just driving through!
Those on my side had to stop as I stuck my big stick right out!
Testing those brakes again!
At least I finished in one piece.
Home time.
Much needed cup of brew needed!
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby was trapped in traffic in Evesham.
He got back half an hour late.
He had a sloppy wet one on his return 😘
Meat Free Stir Fry.
Yum!
I looked in today's newspaper.
US No.1 on this day in 1990:
Maxi Priest - Close To You
Next up was another episode of "Yellowstone"
Now to put on that new duvet cover on the bed.
Randy the Dog was on the bed↑
My Sequinned clothes arrived  for our upcoming boogie night out↓
Wait for that Glitter Ball to hit those sequins!
Sleep tea time.

BOO!

When all else fails, and the instructions are missing - kick it!
-Anon
Welcome to Thursday GCSE results day 🎉🎉🎉
Nice warm hug.
Breakfast with brew.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he went to work.
The plan was the rest of us was going to go and walk around Bidford Car Boot this morning...
While they were getting ready, I brewed myself some nice coffee to drink...
Suddenly one son didn't want to go,
He wanted to sit in his bedroom and play on his computer...
I turned off the internet, and went to get the newspaper.
It was too late to go to Bidford now :(
I came back after 10 mins.
My son got his GCSE results!
Well done!
Now to celebrate out...
(Dragging the other son off his computer, for some fresh air)
Quick look around before a celebration drinks and nibble!
Nice sofa pity I have one and pity it's green!
Now for drinks and nibbles!
I declined a bacon bap, as keeping off the bacon as I had loads last week...
At least I won't have to worry about anyone giving me covid here!
Got some more bits and we left.
One son walked home.
The rest of us, went off to the near-by lake to feed the ducks and play in the stream.
At least the ducks came over and had something to eat.
Now to go over to the bridge.
Son put on his welly's and had a quick go in the river.
He will have to go in the shower when he gets back home.
While he is having that shower.
The new duvet cover with sunshine throw goes on the bed.
Late lunch.
I write yesterday's blog post.
Moving onto last Friday blog post about our last full day in Blackpool.
As soon as I have published it, Hubby walks through the door....
He has a nice sloppy wet 💋
Tea is ready as well.
We caught up with 2 episodes of:
During the second one, Hubby mowed the front lawn.
I silently waited outside when he was in the back garden, he came round the front.
"Boo!"I shouted.
He must have jumped ten feet...
"Payback,"I replied
"What for?"He asked.
"Breaking 2 ovens in 9 months.....!"
(Which I had to pay for two ovens and get them fitted!)
We watched the new
Alex Polizzi: My Hotel Nightmare.
I had a quick look in today's newspaper.
Craig Douglas (born Terence Perkins) is an English pop singer, who was popular in the late 1950s and early 1960s. His sole UK chart-topper, "Only Sixteen" (1959), sold more copies in the UK than Sam Cooke's original version.
He is 80 years old 🎈
Samuel Gerald Jones , known professionally as Sam J. Jones, is an American actor. He has arguably become best known for having played the title characters in the 1980 film Flash Gordon and in the short-lived TV series The Highwayman (1987–1988).
