Boom Bang-a-Bang!

Our toaster has two settings: too soon or too late - Sam Levenson
Welcome back to the Friday Feeling 🎈🎈
The sunshine carries on!  👙
Breakfast and Brew.
Nice outfit to put on!
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I left.
The traffic lights were stuck on red.
So carefully went through, as the other traffic lights were on green!
Gets to work \o/
On goes the summer hat and summer coat.
I go and turn on my lights, collect the newspaper on the way back to Sexy Beast.
I swap the newspaper for my big stick.
Now to turn on my other lights.
Now to go to work...🍭
Some people have had too many Friday Feeling.
Lots of last minute braking again.
Gave lots of BOINGs out for some that didn't stop!I had to stamp my stick down a few times!
Finished in one piece.
I posted a parcel at my local Post Office.
Back home.
Time for coffee and cake in the garden!
Yum!
I loaded up the dishwasher.
Washing machine went back on.
Then the washing got put out on the line.
Just had a sandwich for lunch.
Talked to hubby on his lunchbreak.
Now to do the final shift of the week.
The summer hat and summer coat went on,
As well as the big, big sunglasses.
I turned on my lights and walked down the road to have a look and chat in the Charity Shop.
My two friends joined us.
I wished the staff in the Charity Shop a good weekend.
Turned my lights on as I walked up the road.
Got my big stick out of Sexy Beast.
Off for a rabbit in the square in the sunshine.
I wished my friends a good weekend.
Now to start my final shift of the week!
Already has someone parking on the pavement, blocking my view of the traffic coming up the road.
Lots of traffic.
Some car drivers just ignore my big sign.
BOING,BOING, and more BOING.
Especially stopping in the Keep Clear space.
Finished in one piece.
As I was leaving the car park.
I have a van just stopping and not moving!
By the time I went the other way, I had beat the above van to the island.
I gets home.
Time for a much needed brew!
I start on the tea.
In the oven it goes.
Mashes the potatoes.
Hubby comes home and has a sloppy wet one 💋
Dished up the Faggots, Mash and Peas.
Yum!
I looked into today's newspaper.
Now to watch:
We watched all of Season 3.
The lights have come on in the front garden.
Caught up with the news of the day.
Sleep Tea Time.
All ready for the weekend......😎

Counting Down The Days....

- Fran Lebowitz.
Welcome to my Thursday Fun 💄
Not to go until we go away on our holidays..🌞
Nice warm hug to wake up to.
Now for the Heardles....

I got that right after the first note!
Brew with breakfast.
Dressed.
(No thermal vest is needed!)
Now out in the sunshine I go...
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I go.
I got my newspaper before I put on the summer coat.
Summer hat and coat went on.
Turned on my lights.
Let's go to work!
Two BOINGs were handed out for cars failing to stop...
Chatted to someone who went to Spain, can caught Covid on the way back.
He has spent last week at home feeling crap.
It sounds like he had the same strain of Covid I had!
He still looks rough!
Chats with all the parents.
The countdown is on for the holidays to start!
I finish in one piece.
Back home to put on the coffee machine.
Washing machine went on, to wash some clothes for the holiday coming up.
Coffee time.
I wrote yesterday's blog post up to lunch.
Liquid lunch time!
3 shifts to do then it's holiday time!
Now to do part two...
I put on summer coat, and go on to turn on the lights.
Then it's chill time..
Those dark clouds were rolling in.
I'm sure the rain will hold off until I finish.
None of my friends turned up, so I chilled out until  I started round 2.
I gave out plenty of BOINGs for the car drivers on the otherside of the road,as they just ignored my big stick!
More stopping on my side of the road.
I survived!
Now back home.
Puts the faggots into the oven.
Peel the potatoes and puts them on.
The peas get put in the saucepan.
In need of a brew....

Looking Back....!

I was so poor I didn't know where my next husband was coming from - Mae West.
Welcome to my Saturday 🌸
I woke up at 5.30am and needed a brew.
I had a nice brew while waiting for "Sounds of the 60s" to start.
While "Sounds of the 60s" was on.
I got on with writing yesterday's blog post.
UK Top 3 from 1963.
3:
Billy J.Kramer and the Dekotas -
Do You Want To Know A Secret?
2:
Jet Harris & Tony Meehan -

The Beatles - From Me to You.
Sleeping Beauty arose from the his pit.
We had brew with breakfast.
Then he and younger son went to do the food shopping for the week.
I put the coffee machine on.
Can't use the washing machine this weekend, so I watered the plants in the garden and fed the birds.
 Coffee time!
A bird came visiting...
Once hubby and son came back.
We unloaded the shopping.
Had a light lunch.
Back out again.
Off to see my parents....
Made sure the cross won't come apart again.
Hubby likes this gravestone so much.
He wants this design for the gravestone for his late dad and his family.
As once his dad's ashes are put into the family plot with the other 5 members of the family.
The gravestone with all 6 names on it and the infamous photo of hubby's dad smiling and with his red tie!
Had chat with my parents.
Tidied up Bill's grave opposite as all the flowers fell down off his grave.
Then off to look around Sainsburys.
Great Private Eye front cover.
I saw an old friend who still is a Postman.
Haven't see a man to do a runner NOT to talk to me for ages....;)
Back home for a much needed BREW!
Puts the faggots in the oven.
Peeled the potatoes.
Peas put in the saucepan.
Quick look in the newspaper.
