If it's good, they'll stop making it - Herbert Block
Welcome to my Thursday Fun💙
It's Heardle time
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
I meanwhile had lots to keep me occupied!
Put the washing back out on the line.
I watered all the plants in the garden.
Then to move things about...
I carried onto Sainsburys.
My shampoo I normal buy has gone down to £4.50, instead of £7.
I normally get it when it's on offer.
I got some more bits for the garden as they were in the sale.
Walked about the store a few times.
Now to pay for it all.
I waited for the woman in front to load up all things on the belt.
Never bothered to put a divider between her and my shopping. I stetched over and done it myself.
I overheard the conversation from the next till.
Mother to the till Operator:
"When are the kids going back to school again?"
The son replied to his mum:
"When are you going back to work mum?"
Silence. She smiled, put the final bag in her trolley and walked off with son in toe.
The Till Operator was talking to the two women in front of me, no problem.
Got to me, nothing.
My Nectar card wouldn't scan, he took it off me, scanned it, gave it back to me, I said "Thank you."
He then scanned everything, I put it in the bags.
Paid for the things and off I went.
Loaded up Sexy Beast and off home I go.
Unloaded the shopping.
Now to add to the garden a bit more!
Now for a much needed coffee!
Time for a light lunch.
Tea at 3 was needed.
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet one
💋
Tea is served.
I looked into today's newspaper.
Cliff Richard & The Shadows - Please Don't Tease
UK No.1 on this day in 1966:
Chris Farlowe - Out Of Time
UK No.1 on this day in 1979:

We just relaxed in the garden.
Hubby picked them up.
Younger son's receipt.
Back in for some sleep tea.
