Can't Escape...

Welcoming Thursday with a smile....
To start the day in my green wellies for Job 1.
The rain stopped before I was due to start.
Back in the trusty trainers.
I had to tell 3 parents off for parking on the Zig Zags again....
Invested in two more Composting bins for the garden...
I enjoyed a cheeky coffee before dinnertime..
I thought I escaped that certain rain cloud.
Fifteen minutes left of the dinner time....
The sky went dark, and down the rain came....
Wet once more....
45 minutes later the sun came out...

It Came Down Once More...

Welcome to my Hump of the Week...
What a difference of 24 hours....
No sunshine, only heavy rain to deal with...
Green wellies time....
Dried out at
Coffee and toast to enjoy
Larry enjoying the rain...
Back to part two of Job 1.
The heavy rain came back at 2.50pm.
I didn't have no time to put on the wellies
Squeaky wet trainer time!
By 5pm the sun came out..
Then I heard the news about the tragic events that happened in London.... :(

Slipping Them On Twice....

Back on the wobbly soggy work wheel...
Oh dear, the rain is pouring down....
Time for the green wellies to come out...
Survived to have a hot coffee
 and make a Birthday card!
More rain for the afternoon shift.
The wellies back on...
Rain, dark, parents taking no notice of me and parking on the Zig Zags lines.
My kids said they had their yearly road safety assembly in the morning.
As normal I wasn't invited in to meet the kids,
I was just called the School Crossing Patrol
(my real name wasn't used)
Great.
 No support from the school,
Whose kids I cross over the road twice a day!

What Will It Lead To..Zzz?

Grabbing handfuls of that Friday Feeling!
Only to find the rain is back!
Green wellies time!
Parents were in their cars waiting for me to start my job.
Spent all morning, catching up on the large blog!
Listening and singing along with songs on You Tube.
Once 5pm came along, the weekend has started.
The alarm clock will be turned off for two whole days!
I will be cuddling up with hubby in bed later to watch a film in bed.
How long before I will be asleep before the film starts....?

Can It Get Any Worst????

Welcome to my Wednesday.
When my car failed to start, I knew I was going to have a bad Hump Day.
Wind, rain, feet nice and dry in the green wellies.
Got lift back home.
Waited for Green Flag.
He arrived, then he started it on the second time.
"It's the starter motor or a block in the fuel line" he told me.
Dropped it off at my local garage.
Messed about all afternoon.
(no leg up)
Got a message from the garage.
"Can you drop your car keys down here tomorrow?"
Funny, I gave him the keys to start the car.
As normal, 3 times he started the car, and 3 times the car started.
Yeah, I bring it back here, and it won't start tomorrow, when I need it.
Now to put leg up, as hasn't put it up due to the fun I had!!

From Dawn To Dust...

Woo hoo it's Monday,
Now for a nice long stretch at 4.30am!
At Job 1 at 5.30am, it was dark, wind blowing, and surrounded by graves.
I was soon in the school, and bolted the front door.
I was well armed with holy water, and a large crucifix.
After finishing the first job, then on-wards to the Job 2
I was armed with green wellies....
Time to get wet...
Finally finished all my jobs at 6.45pm.
Now for a rub down of Deep Heat!
