Being Spoilt!

What is too silly to be spoken can be sung -
 Pierre de Beaumarchais
Welcome to my Sunday love 💓
Nice bit of adult time....
Then it was breakfast with brew.
Thermal vest goes on.
Off to see my parents with more flowers.
I hope that gold-digging brother doesn't take anything else off my parent's grave!
Then to pick up kids as we are having a meal out.
(Postponed from last Sunday)
We were 10 minutes late due to traffic....
Table was set ready.
Gravy and veggies.
My beef dinner!
Pudding.
Yum yum.
Drove home, dropped one son off.
We had to get more compost, the nearest place was B&Q.
More compost and flowers off the reduced stand.
Hubby was tired after driving to and from the meal, so he went off for a nap.
I carried on doing some more gardening for 2 hours.
Garden still looking a bit empty.
I'm sure I will get time for more gardening during the upcoming Easter Holidays..
(If it doesn t snow!)
After that big meal at dinnertime.
Time for something not so big....
Then I had hot shower.
All the dry washing was took upstairs,
(I will be sorting that out tomorrow!)
I carried on writing yesterday's blog post.
Once that was done.
I looked inside today's newspaper.

Reaching Half A Century!

“At age 50, everyone has the face he deserves.” - George Orwell
Welcome to my 50th Birthday Party 🎈
Time to open the cards and presents!
Now to get dressed.
(thermal vest goes on)
Then it's Breakfast and Brew time!
I have 2 lovely cards and presents off my two sons.
Now to leave the house....
I gives hubby a wet sloppy one before I leave.
Two winter hats and big gloves go on.
I put on my lights.
Now for the fun to start!
The High School has got a TE day.
The other 3 schools are still open.
I had lots of Happy Birthdays greetings.
It might have been quiet for traffic,
still got cars doing the Limbo under my stick and just looking up to see if I can hit their car roof as they go under....
BOING,BOING,BOING went my stick!
At least I finished in one piece.
Picks up newspaper on the way home.
Dropped off the newspaper.
Now back out.
Coffee & Chat time.
Both of my friends were there,
(Who I chat to in the afternoon!)
More lovely cards and hand cream :)
Chat, coffee and toast :)
Once finished we all said to each other.
"See you later Alligator!"
Back home I go.
Now to put all the cards on display!
My younger brother dropped in a Birthday card through the letter box on Saturday.
He must have forgot my first name, as he just wrote Sister in my card!
Lunchtime.
Then back out for Round 2.
It forecasted rain while doing it.
On goes the sexy lumo trousers.
On goes the boots, two hats, and waterproof gloves.
I turn on my lights, and walk back to my two friends waiting.
Time for a Rabbit....
As soon as I say "Goodbye!"
It starts to rain.
On goes the hood.
I was crossing a dog walker over the road.
When the dog wouldn't go any further, the woman wasn't looking where the lead was, and tripped over the lead, straight on her face she went, I was in the middle of the road.I helped her up.
"The dog is frightened of your big stick,"She said dragging the dog past me.
I replied,"Most car drivers are frightened of my big stick as well!"
Lots of BOINGs been given out as some cars were just driving under my stick.
At least I finished in one piece.
&
Still raining!
Back home.
Now to get ready for the meal later on.
Hubby comes back for a wet one.
Time for rain mac....
3 Mixed Grills.
(I had sweet potato fries)
&
1 Lasagne.
I was too full for dessert.
The Kids still had their desserts.
We got home.
I had a tiny piece of Birthday Cake.
with my Sleep Tea.
A very quick look into the newspaper.
