Digging Up The Past!

Im eighteen years behind on my ironing. There's no use it now, it doesn't fit anyone I know - Phyllis Diller
Welcome to my Saturday 📦📦
Nice warm hug with a brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Out to get the newspaper.
Gets back and puts on the coffee machine.
Starts to get the ladders ready.
Cup of coffee to have before we start.
Now to sort out things for the tip or storage unit.
One trip to the storage unit.
Then a trip down to the tip.
Lunchtime.
Then back on it.
Another trip to the Storage Unit.
Slowly filling it up...
Then it's final trip down to the tip.
I meanwhile got the beef stew made and put in the oven...
The trusty casserole dish came out...
Dished it up when it ready.
Beef stew with leaks and green beans.
I found some old pictures of me....
Found a picture of me from 1998 with an old boyfriend called Paul.
The next photo is off two women who I used to go with to a Single Parent's Club in the late 90s.
Jackie on the left.
Ann on the right.
Next photo was me at my Birthday Party in Brannigans, in Birmingham with my good mate Harry↓
I even found a 18th Birthday card, from the staff of Poundstretchers with a £7 record token↓
I also have got all my Misty Annuals...↓
Time to get some more Magic Bags.
On the way to get the final Magic Bag,
Some one was in the wrong lane and swerved in front of me...
Nearly took my car out!
Was glad to get back home after that!
My father-in-law is having some of the above.
Out comes the Sleep Tea.
Watching series 20 of Hell's Kitchen.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Don McLean is an American singer-songwriter, best known for his 1971 hit song "American Pie", an 8-and-a-half-minute folk rock "cultural touchstone" about the loss of innocence of the early rock and roll generation. His other hit singles include "Vincent", "Dreidel", a rendition of Roy Orbison's "Crying", a rendition of the Skyliners' "Since I Don't Have You", and "Wonderful Baby".
He is 76 years old 🎈
Philip "Phil" Oakey  is an English singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as the lead singer, songwriter, and co-founder of English synth-pop band The Human League. Aside from The Human League, he has had an extensive solo music career and collaborated with numerous other artists and producers. Oakey was one of the most visually distinctive music artists of the early 1980s. At the height of their success, The Human League released the triple platinum-certified album Dare and Oakey co-wrote and sang the multi-million-selling single "Don't You Want Me", which was a number one single in both the U.S. and UK, where it remains the 28th-highest-selling single of all time. Oakey has been lead singer of The Human League for over 40 years, with whom he has sold more than 20 million records worldwide. He continues recording and performing internationally.
He is 66 years old 🎈

Tom Petty was an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and actor. He was the lead vocalist and guitarist of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, formed in 1976. He previously led the band Mudcrutch, and was also a member of the late 1980s supergroup the Traveling Wilburys. He sadly died aged 66 in 2017.
Hoping we finish clearing the loft tomorrow!

What Number Husband Are You On Now?

I got wet during first part of Job 1.
Now to warm up with chat and coffee
In walks some customers,
I used to deliver their mail in Studley.
Went over,
Without taking a breath,
Fitted in 5 years history into 25 minutes!
She did ask:
"What number husband am I on?"
I laughed, and replied:
"Still number 2 hubby" :)
Needed another drink as my throat was dry.
Picked up a good book on the way out.
Always needs some help in THAT department :P
