Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
Now out of the door.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 😘.
I had to park in the car park opposite as the Village Hall car park wasn't open.
On goes the Winter coat, summer hat, gloves,
&
Big big sunglasses.
I walk down to turn on my lights.
I gets the newspaper.
The gates are now open.
Moves Sexy Beast.
Gets my big stick out.
Now off to turn on my other lights.
Now to go to my spot...🍭
It was quiet for a bit, as the High School was having TE day.
I got chatting with the parents and children.
One SUV drove straight under my raised stick!
"BOING" he received.
Still had cars on the otherside weren't stopping.
I survived this shift.
Back to Sexy Beast.
I got changed and popped into the Village Hall for two agendas for tomorrow meetings.
Back home I go.
Coffee time.
Sorts out some Council Business.
Sends some ideas for next year's 80th Anniversary of D - Day.
Cuts up Halloween cake for my 4 friends.
My dress for Rememberance Day arrived.
Liquid lunch.
Has a text from younger son about having a melt down at work.
I have a quick chat with hubby on his lunch break.
Then off out I go.
Pops into see son.
He is alright now.
I bump into my lovely friend who I used to work with at Royal Mail.I give him a big, big, hug as I haven't seen him in ages.
He is visiting Scotland on a Coach next month just before his Birthday.
I wished him a lovely time.
On the way out, I saw a Councillor on the Poppy Stand. I got a lanyard and a poppy to add to it.
Got chatting about the house next door.
Then off I went, back to work.
I visited the War Memorial, as it was cleaned last week.
(Someone told me this morning)
I walked back to Sexy Beast.
I got on my winter coat, summer hat, and big big sunglasses.
A good Pillar Box topper appeared:
I dropped some cake around to my friends, turned on the lights, and walked down to the Charity Shop.
I had a yak and look around.
(Didn't buy nothing)
Says goodbye to everyone.
Turns on my other lights.
Gives a piece of cake to my friend.
Gets big stick out and off to the square we went.
I had chat with one of the mothers.
Then I say goodbye to everyone and has to put up with the low lying sun.
Then I have two vans blocking my view of cars coming up the road.
The Traffic Warden told to move,
It did to the opposite side on double yellow lines and on a bus stop. The van then moved and parked on the live single line further down the road which you can't park on between 3pm - 4pm.
The Traffic Warden ticketed a red car that was parked on the live line earlier and got abuse for giving them a ticket.
My fun carried on.
Nearly hit a windscreen as a car drove straight under/around my raised stick.
One car slammed his brakes on, causing smoke to come from his wheels and made a nasty skid mark on the road when they stopped!
My other friend appeared towards the end of my shift.
Once I finished, we walked over to Sexy Beast.
I gave him, his piece of Halloween cake.
I told him to be a bit earlier tomorrow.
I wished him a good evening.
On the way home, I followed an ex-Councillor.
He kept looking at me in his mirror as his car was veering to the left a lot. He went off down a side road. I was worrying he was going to follow me home!
Cup of brew time.
I wrote two blog posts.
Tea time.
Then to read today's newspaper.
I had a parcel of mine, pushed through the letterbox.
Must have been posted to one of the factory units.
I'm glad I finally got it, as what's inside is needed for Sunday!
