Bill Withers was an American singer-songwriter and musician. He had several hits over a relatively short career of fifteen years, including "Ain't No Sunshine" (1971), "Grandma's Hands" (1971), "Use Me" (1972), "Lean on Me" (1972), "Lovely Day" (1977) and "Just the Two of Us" (1981). Withers won three Grammy Awards and was nominated for six more. His life was the subject of the 2009 documentary film Still Bill. Withers was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005 and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. Two of his songs were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
He would have been 83 years old today 🎈
He died in 2020 aged 81
Barry Carter , better known by his stage name Barry White, was an American singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and composer. A two-time Grammy Award–winner known for his bass-baritone voice and romantic image, his greatest success came in the 1970s as a solo singer and with The Love Unlimited Orchestra, crafting many enduring soul, funk, and disco songs such as his two biggest hits: "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" and "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe".
He died on this day in 2003 aged 58.

I emptied all the bins in the house.
Loaded up the dish-washer.

The red cooking pot was put in the oven for later.
I then started on yesterday's blog.
Hubby had nipped into the local Lidl by his work. No cleaning station to clean the trolleys.Hardly no one wearing masks.
He made sure he washed his hands when he got back to his car afterwards!
When he got back, he was pouring with rain.
No walking just yet.
As he only brought the green milk.
(I can't drink it no more, as it makes me bad)
We were going to go to Asda and get some blue milk after tea.
