Happy Together!

I've been on more laps than a napkin - Mae West
Welcome to my Tuesday 💋
Nice hug with my brew.
Breakfast.
I gave my hubby a wet sloppy 💋 before I left.
It's still quite cold.
So on went the Winter coat.
Let the fun start...🍭
People were actually using their brake for the first time...
It's a pity the other car drivers were not stopping on the other side.
One was on his mobile when he went past me.
One slammed on his brakes when I lowered my stick down.
No sign of that blue skoda from last week!
Finished in one piece.
Now off to get my newspaper.
Coffee machine was put on.
Now to get the Spin Bike out....
Put on a good film to watch...
Done my spin!
Puts bike away.
Now for a much needed coffee!
Today is my late parent's 53rd Wedding Anniversary 🎈🎈
I write up yesterday's blog post, all the way to lunch.
Lunch time.
It forecasted rain, however as past experience, I am not wearing those sexy yellow trousers!
Now to try another CD.
I turn on my lights.
Then sit, chill and chat with my friends.
I said goodbye to my friends, and now to start.
Let the fun start once more...🍭
Some cars went straight under my stick.
The people's brake started to get used!
One had to brake hard, and I could hear the gums banging by the passenger when I walked back on the pavement!
I survived in one piece!
Now back home!
Much needed cup of coffee time!
I then chopped up the veggies for tea.
Put them all the oven ready.
Now to use the kitchen table to cut up some fabric.....
All the cut material was put by for tomorrow,
(Then I go on the sewing machine with new power plug \o/)
Hubby came home to have a warm hug and a sloppy wet 💋
Now to serve up the Veggie Tea.
Afterwards I looked into today's newspaper.

He began his career in blues and blues rock and evolved to a more pop-oriented sound during the mid-1970s through the early 1980s, releasing popular singles and albums. He is 78 years old 🎈
Brian  Connolly  was a Scottish singer-songwriter, musician and actor, best known as the lead singer of glam rock band The Sweet between 1968 and 1979.

He sadly died aged 51 in 1997.
Then it was time to remove the carpets in the loft. Six black bags later, all removed.
I thread the bobbin on the sewing machine.
I ask hubby to load up the dishwasher.
He just sits there looking in the newspaper.
I turn off the sewing machine, puts the cover over it.
Then it the kitchen to load it up, puts it on, and wipes down the surfaces.
Does my sleep tea and sits down to drink it.
Hubby then gets out Henry and hoovers the Living Room!
We are going to have sunny Hump Day tomorrow 🐫

Looking In The Mirror!

There is no such as a little garlic - Arthur Baer
Welcome to my Saturday 👍
I woke up at 5.50am.
I got up and made a brew.
I listened to "The Sounds of the 60s" while writing yesterday's blog post.
Sleeping Beauty woke up and we enjoyed breakfast.
Then to wake up son to drop him off at his work.
Dressed.
It was my hubby's late mum's 81st Birthday today.
(She passed away 26 years ago)
Then out!
Drops off son.
Then off to Stratford Car Boot.
We had to park in the overspill car park.
Spot the Eastenders Characters!
Now to look around....
Here is the conversation I overheard...
Buyer: The view is not nice in this mirror..
Seller: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Buyer:I'm interested in this mirror
Seller:Give me an offer for it
Buyer: There is a bit missing of the mirror, no thanks, and he put the mirror down!
I found another Black eyed Susan vine.
Red flowers on it.
It was only £2.50!
Bargain!
Another look around.
I went past a old Singer Sewing Machine...
It looked good...
Bit the hand's man off for how much it was.
It was heavy, hubby had to swap hands taking it back to the car!
The boot full.
Now off to visit Alcester.
There was no price on anything....
I got a card and balloons for my friend who is 70 today.
We enjoyed a fishcake and chips lunch.
Now to deliver the balloons and card!
He wasn't in, so I tied the balloons to the door handle.
(I'm sure he will be pleased when he came back!)
Back home to unpack the car
&
Have a much needed coffee!
Here is a pictures of before my house and garden looked like 12 years ago, and now.
Now out to get a lucky bag from Morrisons.
Then for tea.
Yummy.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
