More Sunshine, More Exploring....

I have a large seashell collection, which I keep scattered on beaches all over the world. Maybe you've seen it? - Steven Wright
Welcome to my Hump of the Week in Blackpool
Up early for a early brew.
Dressed.
Breakfast.
Then out to get a tram...
Once we got off the tram,
We get the bus to Lytham...
Once we get off, time to look around the Charity Shops. Loads of bargains.
We have a coffee, halfway round.
Back onto looking about..
I overheard a conversation in one Charity Shop.
Customer to Sales Assistant:
"My husband pays £300 for a pair of trainers, and £100 for a new t-shirt..."
The Sales Assistant replied:
"Have you thought of visiting Charity Shops?"
Customer repiled:"Yes I do, but that Designer Charity Shop down the road was charging £10 for a second hand t-shirt, someone has already wore it"
I just shook my head and left the shop.
Now to walk to the park to have our lunch.
I'm glad we found some shade, as it was getting well warm.
Bobby Ball.
Now for a walk down the front...
We walks back to the bus stop.
We missed one bus back to Blackpool.
We caught the Stagecoach bus and we got into Blackpool in record time.
Now to get the tram...
We gets off at our tram stop.
We goes back to the B&B to unpack all our good things we got from Lytham.
We had our tea.
Back out for another walk about...
Back to the B&B to chill.....
Now to use that comfy bed...

How Much For That Haircut?

Beauty is only a light switch away - Austin Powers

Welcome to a mixed bag of weather Thursday
The sun might be out, however those dark clouds of rain are coming in this afternoon.
Breakfast and Brew.
On goes the thermal vest.
Time to hit the road Jack!
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 😘 before I left.
It was still a bit cold.
On goes the winter hat, but with the summer hat.
Goes and turns on my lights, gets my newspaper.
Swaps my newspaper for my stick.
Off to turn on my other lights.
It was very  quiet for traffic as some teachers are on strike.
One year is in, in the High School,
The Junior School is closed.
Half of the Catholic School was open.
The Infants School was open.
Not a lot of children to cross over.
Still a few BOINGs I gave out.
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Coffee time!
Now down to write yesterday's blog post!
So much happened yesterday, it took me right up to liquid lunch.
Now for part two.
It looks like it is going to rain.
On goes the winter coat, and winter hat.
Goes into the Library for a chat.
Then off to turn on my lights, and I bump into whose Birthday it was yesterday.
Rumour had it one of my friends is my husband!
That will be please my husband.
The other "Husband" turned up.
Both him and Birthday boy went to the square while me and my other friend turned on my lights.
Nice parking on double yellow lines!
Turns on my lights and walks back to have a rabbit with all my friends in the square.
We got talking about hairdressing prices.
One friend went to a Salon in the Cotwolds and got her hair styled for £49.60, and that was half price!!!!!!
I told her how much I paid.
She advised to go somewhere else!
Just before I started my shift.
I said to my friends.
"I have a harem of husbands, one at home and two here, including your husband!"
Everybody laughed.
My aim to make people laugh is done :)
As soon as I started, the rain came down!
On and off went my hood.
In the end it stopped down.
Not much traffic either!
Still gave out a BOING!
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
Cup of brew time!
The tea gets put in the oven at 5 o' clock.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋.
Tea is served.

Nice To See You, To See You Nice!

This is not a book to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force - Dorothy Parker
Welcome to my hot sweaty Tuesday 😰
Got the picture of the sunrise!
Now to test the little grey cells....
Heardle Time!
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Breakfast Time with brew.
Dressed.
Gave hubby a wet sloppy one 😘 before he left for work.
Younger son had a day off from work.
He was going for a long walk with a friend later.
I sorted out the stuff under the Garden Table.
Now for me to go for a little ride in Sexy Beast.
Another trip to Wickes for me.
The one that served was in the same year as my younger son, they went to the same First, Middle and High schools.
About 13 years ago:
I used to be a part of a group of parents walking some children up to the First School, it was called "The Walking Bus".
One winter's day, waiting for the kids to be dropped off. The mum of this particular child, dropped them off with no coat and suffering from Flu.
I did ask, "If she was going to fetch their coat?"
"No, she will be fine, anyway I have a high pressured job!"
And off she went!
I got my bits.
Now onto Asda.
I got some small bits and my newspaper.
Back home.
Coffee machine went on.
So did the washing machine.
Now to enjoy coffee in the shade!
Then the gloves went on,
Opened a new tin of vanish to apply the second coat to the garden bench.
&
First coat to the wishing well.
The sun was moving around and it was getting warm!
Younger son went off to meet a friend for a nice long walk.
I had a early lunch.
An old friend is covering my postman's duty this week.
The last time he saw me, I was wearing a nice black boot to walk on↓↓
That was back in 2018!
(I had a op to reattach my achilles tendon,
which was snapped off when I was coming out of Lunchtime job on Halloween 2017.
I had to learn to walk, drive etc, finally went back to work after 8 months off!)
I said," It was nice to see you, to see you nice!"
when he left.
My order arrived :)
I didn't order enough ribbon for the cake board, for the LGBTQ+ Bake off.....↓
Had to order some more!
My younger son came back from his walk.
He bought back a lovely ice lolly for me :)
He did 11,000 steps.
He treated himself to a Paul McCartney CD from HMV↓
Tea at much later than 3pm.
Other son started his new job.
I wished him luck and gave him a sloppy wet one before he left.😘
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came home and received a sloppy wet one too 💋
Nice easy tea involving Quiche.
Quick look into today's newspaper:

Son came back from his first day at his new job.
He really enjoyed it!
Full moon tonight.
Whereas the moon was coming up,
I missed the the sun going down!
A paraglider was coming over the house.
Enjoying the silence and it is getting dark early now.
Back in for some sleep tea.
