Another Tuesday Something Happens!

We are all born mad. Some remain so - Samuel Beckett
Welcome to my Tuesday 💓
Opened the windows to reveal the nice sunrise.
Nice hug I had.
Brew with breakfast.
No thermal vest needed.
Time for work...
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one.
Oh dear, hope everything is alright over there.
I goes and gets my newspaper.
It wasn't quite warm enough to put on my summer coat, so on goes the winter coat and gloves.
I turns on my lights.
Now let's Rock 'n' Roll.
One school had yesterday off, were back.
The traffic had increased.
Nearly had a tap and crack on a windscreen, missed it by a inch.
Some parents who I didn't see yesterday, asked how my Easter was.
On goes the tape recorder....
Just hope Dr Death won't visiting again too soon.
Few BOINGS given.
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
The coffee machine was put on.
My watering can lasted over 12+ years. Accidentally dropped it, now I had a hole in the bottom...didn't realise until filling it up and water went all over the kitchen floor!
In need of coffee now!
Hubby was at the Doctors to get something for his Chest Infection.
I finished writing yesterday's blog post.
All the way up to lunch.
Now it's time for some liquid lunch.
Part two time...
On goes those big big sunglasses..
Summer coat.
I go and put on my lights.
Now to soak up the sun's rays...
I only had one friend come,
As the other one took his sister to a funeral, and he said yesterday, he wouldn't be back for the normal rabbit.
Time for shift to start,
I say goodbye to my friend.
Part Two time.
Most were good, just one car driver nearly had his windscreen tapped!
Survived just!
Back home.
Brew time!
Tea was put in the oven.
Sorting through some of his dad's stuff.
Found some more of his shopping lists.
Tea is ready.
Yum.
Looked into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1980:
Blondie - Call Me
USA No.1 on this day in 1958:
The Platters - Twilight Time
Sorted out some dried washing.
Sleep tea time.
Hope we have a sunny Hump Day tomorrow.

Pottering Around

I never forget a face, but in your case I'll make an exception - Groucho Marx.
Welcome to my Sunday love 💓
Nice big hug to start Sunday with.
Brew and breakfast.
Then it was time to get up!
We had things to do in the garden.
We had excess paperwork which was no use to nobody.
Instead of filling up precious space in our recycle bin, and getting out the shredder.
Out came the burning bin instead.
I had two new composters arrive yesterday.
Had to make room for them.
That means emptying a smaller one, so two can go in its place.
The saw had to come out to remove a branch that was hindering us from doing it!
Much needed coffee time...
Afterwards cleaned the fridge out and sorted out the food that was in it!
After a quick lunch and a chat with my neighbour's son.
I dropped off younger son with Joe to deliver some leaflets, in hope of being elected as the Councillor for Brockhill and Batchley.
I had chat with Mr Fry who is hoping to elected on the Lodge Park ward.
Then we left to check the tyre pressures on Sexy Beast.
Then back home to start on the tea.
Chicken Stir Fry.
The Youngest son just arrived home when I dished his and his brother's tea up!
I got back on writing Friday's blog post and the today's blog post on the other blog.
Hubby was sorting out more of his late dad's paperwork.
It read grim reading, without going into too much detail.
He was SKINT!
Surviving on bags of food that my hubby brought over on Monday Night.
It should make interesting reading for the Solicitor when she sees all the transactions highlighted in orange pen where his money had gone to!
It would have been my late Father-in-law's 77th Birthday today :(
Quick look in today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1953:
Frankie Laine - I Believe.
UK No.1 on this day in 1959:
Buddy Holly - It Doesn't Matter Anymore
UK No.1 on this day in 1968:
Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World.
USA No.1 on this day in 1961:
Del Shannon - Runaway
USA No.1 on this day in 1965:
Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders - Game Of Love.
We took part in a General Knowledge quiz on the radio.
Oh dear, gone past the 10.30 bed deadline....
Early night tomorrow night instead!
Hubby is not in a fit state to go back to work just yet :(
It's back on the Wobbly Work Wheel for me 🎡
I have the tape recorder ready for when people ask me if I had a good Easter...
I will be answering by pressing the play button...
To which my answer will be "No".
It will be played lots of times,
Morning and Afternoon.
Anyway it goodnight from me and good night from him....
