Feeling Hot Hot Hot!

There are two things in life I like hard and one of them is eggs - Mae West
Welcome to a  Hot Hot Hot Saturday 💥
Breakfast and Brew.
We listened to "The Sound of the 60s"
UK Top 3 from 1966.
Double A-side↓↓
3: Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles
Yellow Submarine - The Beatles
2: Jim Reeves - Distant Drums
1: Small Faces - All or Nothing.
Dressed.
Now out of the house before it gets too warm!
First was to check the tyre pressures.
Next to do the food shop at Lidl.
There was a park run going on around the lake, and everyone seem to park in the Lidl car park.
We were lucky to get a space.
Nice coffee machine for £49.99↓↓
Got the shopping.
Back home to put it away.
Unpacks the shopping.
Now to cool down with something cold.
Another trip out in
Sexy Beast.
While having a tyre replaced.
I had a chat with the workers about a lovely blue Range Rover that was in having some tyres replaced.
£120 for a budget tyre.
20 miles on a gallon of fuel.
£100 a week on fuel.
£800 road tax a year.
I had fun with my Larry the Freelander.
I will stick with my Sexy Beast thanks!
Back home.
Cool down time!
Then onto lunch...
Younger son gets my bike out to have a look at it.
Hubby and younger son goes up to Halfords to get two new tyres for it.
Younger son changes the tyres however the inner tube went down.....
Cup of brew is needed!
I catch up with the blog up to tea.
Tea is ready.
Yummy.
I looks into today's newspaper.
We watched the last episode of I,Claudius.
Hubby nipped out to get a magic box from Aldi.
James Whale had a night off from his show.
We decided to try a find a great documentary series which we had recorded on our old sky box. We needed to see it again as the anniversary of 9/11 is coming up.
Sleep Tea Time.
We watched two episodes,
We will be watching two tomorrow and two more on Monday.
The bedroom had cooled down....
Looks good on our bedroom wall↓

Too Tired For The Hump....

Welcome to my Hump of the Week
The temperatures were soon going up and up.
I made the most of it by enjoying the sunshine in the shade.
(no chance of getting sun burnt!)
Even managed to keep awake to watch
"The Great British Bake Off" in bed.
Didn't have time to try for the Gold Medal.
I went to Zzzz while the closing credits of Bake Off was rolling.....
