Never Mind The Wrapping...

“A lovely thing about Christmas is that it’s compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together.” – Garrison Keillor

It was nice to have a bit of a lie-in..
Then out to do my job.
Plenty of singing along while cleaning...
Comes back..
It is time to fight the crowds to do some Christmas Food Shopping...
Off we go.
Bromsgrove Aldi.
We checked out the new Lidl in Bromsgrove.
Followed by the bigger store called the Food Warehouse.
We tried to find some Whipped Cream.
We visited the Bromsgrove Waitrose.
We got some nice reduced food.
The only place we could get some cream was the Asda in Redditch.
Back home for some late lunch.
Now to wrap some Christmas Presents up.
I did 90% of wrapping up.
I took a break to read the newspaper.
Johnny Kidd [Frederick Heath]:  English singer–songwriter (Johnny Kidd & Pirates),
would have been 79 years old.
(He died aged 30 in 1966)
John Sullivan:
English television scriptwriter responsible for several British sitcoms,( including Only Fools and Horses, Citizen Smith and Just Good Friends.)
He would have been 72 years.
(He died aged 64 in 2011)
Margaret Hamilton: suffered a second-degree burn on her face and a third-degree burn on her hand during a second take of her fiery exit from Munchkinland, in which the trap door's drop was delayed to eliminate the brief glimpse of it seen in the final edit. Hamilton had to recuperate in a hospital and at home for six weeks after the accident before returning to the set to complete her work on the film, and refused to have anything further to do with fire for the rest of the filming of"The Wizard of Oz" in 1939.
We caught up on Kirstie's Homemade Christmas...
Then off to a warm bed......
