A Picture Might Last Longer!

When I go to a nude beach, i always take a ruler, just in case I have to prove something - Rodney Dangerfield
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Today is my late mum's 79th Birthday 🎈
I will be around to see her with her balloons!
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
(I had to add the sexy lumo trousers as rain is forcasted this morning)
Time to leave the house.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leave.
I put on my winter hat, winter coat and waterproof boots.
I walk down to put on my lights.
I fetch my newspaper on the way back up.
Swaps my newspaper for my big stick.
Then to turn on my other lights.
Let's go to work...🍭
Torrid rain starts.
Lots of parents are using their cars and not me!
One parent kept looking forward and didn't see me walking across the road!
Car drivers still stopping in the Keep Clear space.
Last minute torrid rain just before I finished.
Dropped big stick in Sexy Beast before I went to collect my balloons.
I collected my 7 & 9 balloons.
As soon I collected them.
3 people asked "who are the balloons were for?
"My mum's grave."
Two of my friends who I see in the afternoon, were going on the X19 to Stratford.
"Don't spend too much!" I said to them as they hopped on the bus.
Puts the balloons in Sexy Beast.
Off to see my parents.
There was a black Jaguar f pace parked on the bend in the graveyard.
I couldn't overtake it on the grass as there were rocks put there for the exact reason!
He finally looked in his wing mirror and drove around in a circle so I park up to put the balloons on.
He parked up where he did before and was watching me fix the balloons on my parent's grave.
The wind wasn't helping!
The Jag man then slowly drove past me,
If he wants a picture, he only has to ask!
Back home I go.
Bread maker comes out...
Cup of coffee is needed.
I write yesterday's blog post up to
Liquid lunch.
Bread is ready as well!
Has a chat with hubby while he is on his lunch break.
Then it time to go and do the afternoon shift.
On goes the winter coat, winter hat
&
Big Big sunglasses.
My friend and I turn on my lights.
Then we head off to the Charity Shop.
What was a bit spooky, the front door kept opening twice, with no one there.
(I reckon that was my late mum seeing what I was buying)
I bought some bargains.
Said goodbye to everyone.
Turned on my lights and back to Sexy Beast to get my big stick.
Then off to the square with my other 3 friends for a little rabbit.
My two friends had a good time in Stratford this morning. Had their afternoon tea and picked up some bargains.
It was time to start my shift.
I thanked them for coming.
Low lying sun alert!
One car went under my stick again.
BOING!
One yellow van parked on the pavement so I had trouble looking down the road. One woman car driver who had a bad trout mouth tried to park right in front of me on the double yellow lines until I shot her a look.
She ended up parking in Village Hall exit.
At least I finished in one piece!
Back home I go.
Cup of brew is needed.
Tumble drier was put on.
Wrote another blog post from the weekend just gone.
Fried up the lovely steaks and put them in the oven.
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet one 💋
We had a steak tea.
Yum!
Looked at today's newspaper.
Then we watched the last episode of:
We caught up with the news and newspaper review.
Sleep Tea Time.
Off to a warm bed with warm hands.

One Down, One To Stay......

I like restraint, if it doesn't go too far - Mae West
I woke up far too early for a Sunday.
I unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Tidied up the kitchen.
Now for the first brew of the day↓
 I had my breakfast.
Sleeping Beauty rose from the warm pit.
While he had his breakfast,
I went to enjoy that warm bed for a bit.
Felt better when I got up.
Hubby had sold one of sewing machines.
(I have another one, to use, don't worry!)
 Hubby mowed the lawn.
Looks better now.
Out for some fresh air....
A lot of bad driving about...
I popped in to see my mum and dad↓

I popped into my local Tesco Express
It was that windy, the white builder's bag was blowing down the road....it got as far as the white car↓
Back home to enjoy a late lunch↓
It was nice to sit outside in the sunshine!
I had to get Kenny out to make my son's Birthday cake for tomorrow.
Once the cake was in the oven,
I had two blog posts to write...
As we have finished watching Hill Street Blues...
We caught up on 3 weeks of Top of the Pops from 1989.
Oh dear, some songs were fast forwarded....
Except a certain breaking song...
Which I knew word for word as I had their album,"A bit of what you fancy," played it to death in the early 1990s...
 Tea was served↓
Jive Bunny was knocked off the top...of the charts :(
They will be number one for a week in December....↓
I had  more songs to my Play List.
I got over 620 songs on it.
The boxset I ordered is due to come Wednesday or Thursday....
The Salted Caramel cake had cooled down.
Finishing adding the chocolate tomorrow.
Back on the tiny Wobbly Work Wheel tomorrow 🎡
&
Another Birthday to Celebrate!🎈

A Bit Of A Wind Problem

“Haters will see you walk on water and say it’s because you can’t swim.”Martin Crane in Frasier
I woke up early to enjoy a cup of tea..
 Everyone finally got up.
We had a filling breakfast.
Now back out to explore Blackpool!

We are playing on the South Pier.
I have £3.80 in 2 pence coins..
Lets me try and win some £££££↓
 I did make £1.60 and  £1.10.
We popped into a good friend who runs a 4* Hotel just up the road from the South Pier.
We were chatting, we saw someone try to park in a very small space.
It got in the space but was touching the car in front!
We said goodbye to Tony.
Then off to get some lunch.

 Now to walk it off...

However after we completed a mile, the winds were getting up to over 40 m.p.h and lifting all my dress up...like in a certain film..
So I walked very quick to the next tram stop and caught the tram back to the B&B.
Enjoying the sights of Blackpool along the way.
We got off at the Cabin stop.
The sea was coming over the sea wall.
The man whose car was near the sea wall had to move his car in the end.
We got our tea from the local corner shop.
While the kids played on the Xbox
We tested the bed again↓
We enjoyed our evening meal later.
Caught up on some telly.
Those winds were blowing....
A very Wild Wind indeed.
