Any fool can tell the truth, but it requires a man of some sense to know how to lie well - Samuel Butler.
Welcome to my Tuesday ⛄
(And I not to rush out either)
Brew with hug.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he left.
He was laiden with his snooker cue, magic bag for his dad, and mince pies.
I wished him good luck for his snooker match later on.
Then I got up.
Thermal vest goes on, as well as Santa Hat.
While younger son was getting ready to come out with me.
The Pink car was ready to go to a new home.
I went past my late dad's house.
They are putting the roof on the extension they put on the side of the house.
Dropped in to see my friend.
Gave her the car, card and mince pies.
Had coffee and chat and son played some games with her daughters.
Then I was off again to drop off another Christmas Card.
He wasn't in when I knocked the door. I posted his Christmas card through the letter box, and left his bag of mince pies by his front door.
Traffic lights appeared on the way to the Co-op, I went down one road and a truck was blocking the way through, I reversed and just about to come out of junction when a BMW went the way I had been,
(Then he saw the lorry, and the brake lights went on!)
My son was surprised I knew all the back roads around here. I delivered mail around here for 20+ years, there would be a problem if I didn't!
I managed to get back onto the main road, there was a long of tailbacks on the otherside of the road due to the Traffic lights.
We got some bits from Co-op.
25% of Christmas bits.
I put a mini Christmas tree and tinsel for my parent's grave.
Son made a bee line for the Jigsaws.
I got myself a Nutcracker Soldier which will be added to the rest of my Christmas Decorations.
Next stop was to drop in and see my parents.
As I was waiting at the Road Traffic Island, who happened to go past, the younger gold digging brother of mine. He stared at me when he went past, he probably could feel the burn of my stare when he carried on up the highway!
Then into Sainsburys we went.
Then off home we went.
Hubby phoned me when I got back.
His boss ate one of my mince pies and said:
"No soggy bottoms then!"
Next up was to have a quick play with Kenny.
I used up the old bananas and added chocolate chips to the mix.
Mixed it up and put it in the oven.
Son soon completed the 3D jigsaw.
I had another meat free tea.

"The Sign" single released in the US by Ace of Base (Billboard Song of the Year 1994)in 1993.
Hubby texted to say his team won 3-2 and he was on the way back.
Banana Bread made.
Sleep tea time.
He didn't win his snooker match.
Excuses excuses.
He should enjoy the rest from it over Christmas.
He can light the Christmas Pudding with the cue tip of his snooker cue on Christmas Day!
(He didn't find that funny, but I did!)
