Getting The Tests In!

My friend is so into recycling she insists on marrying a man who's been married before - Rita Rudner
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
A good night's sleep I had,
A big king size bed to myself.
Heardle time:
Heardle 60s↓
My answers:
Breakfast for one....
Dressed.
Now out in the sunshine I go...
No sloppy wet one for hubby!
(He has covid!)
I went and got today's newspaper.
I was wrapped up well enough to wear my Summer Coat.
Now to put on my lights.
Let's go to work!
One parent was trying to be a Dr, when I mentioned hubby has Covid....
"I knew he had it!" Was it's reply.
They went onto say, "They have had it 3 times!"
"You should be immune to it now!"I replied.
Plenty of BOINGs given out.
My big stick might be 6ft, but it still won't reach the cars on the opposite side of the road!
Even had a few braking at the last minute.
I was glad to finish in one piece!
Time to go home....
Must have coffee....
More earrings have arrived.
Did more housework....
Hubby still feeling crap from Covid.
He had soup for lunch.
I needed a salad for mine!
Now out for part two!
Time for those big ones to come out...
I gets on my summer coat on with my summer hat.
Turns on my lights.
Waits in the square for my friends.
They arrive for a much needed rabbit!
One of my friends gave me a box of tests.
There was a bit mark from her dog on one side of the box!
It was time to start.
I said,"See you tomororw!"
Let's hope the car drivers stop this time!
Lol I was only joking, did they hell!
BOING,BOING went my big stick.
The car drivers on the otherside was just as bad as the traffic on the side of my road!
One parent commented on my hubby having no nibbles....
I responded to that,"I have toys with batteries to keep me busy!"
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
My box of tests I paid for arrived after I left earlier on.
Cup of brew needed.
Now to start the tea.
All the kids are back home.
Dish it up time!
Now to look into today's newspaper:
UK No.1 on this day in 1961:
John Leyton - Johnny Remember Me
US No.1 on this day in 1957:
Buddy Holly &The Crickets - That Will Be The Day
US No.1 on this day in 1968:
The Beatles - Hey Jude.
US No.1 on this day in 1974:
Andy Kim - Rock Me Gently
US No.1 on this day in 2013:
Miley Cyrus - Wreaking Ball
Watched the depressing news.
Sleep Tea time.
Then off to that big bed on my own :(
